Chapter 1431

This day, Xu Xiaoguang came to the town government and found Su Xinghui. He told Su Xinghui that several quarries had been sending stones to their Changyu Highway construction site these past few days. Because Su Xinghui had once told him that now, except for the stones from their Baiyun Mountain Quarry, stones from other quarries could not be accepted, so he had refused the stones sent by these quarries.

However, today the quarries all started making a scene, saying that their stones had no quality problems, so why weren't they accepting their stones? They even pulled some people to the construction site to make trouble, not letting the construction site start work. Although Xu Xiaoguang's construction site had many workers and wasn't afraid of them making trouble, their making trouble like this also greatly affected their project.

After hearing what Xu Xiaoguang said, Su Xinghui asked which quarries they were. Xu Xiaoguang told him, and Su Xinghui couldn't help but ponder.

The dozens of quarries in Changshan County had been in a state of suspension and rectification during this period, and these quarries were also on the list of suspension and rectification. The fact that they could send stones to Xu Xiaoguang's Changyu Highway construction site showed that they were secretly starting work.

Su Xinghui then called Ling Anguo and told him the names of these quarries. He said that these quarries were starting work in violation of regulations and even ran to the Changyu Highway construction site to make trouble. He hoped that County Magistrate Ling could investigate this matter.

Ling Anguo was very angry after hearing this. These quarries were simply too outrageous. Not only were they starting work in violation of regulations, but they also dared to run to the Changyu Highway construction site to make trouble. Everyone knew how important the Changyu Highway was to Changshan County. How could they dare to make trouble for such an important project?

Ling Anguo immediately said he would investigate this matter. Su Xinghui said thank you to the County Magistrate and hung up the phone.

After hanging up the phone, Su Xinghui called Ma Sheng over and told him about this matter. Ma Sheng was naturally very angry too, and he immediately said to call the police from the police station and arrest all these troublemakers.

Because the Changyu Highway was first built starting from Matou Town, the project department was on the ground of Matou Town. Su Xinghui had Ma Sheng call the Matou Town Police Station, asking the Matou Town Police Station to send police. Then, he and Ma Sheng, along with Yin Hualong, followed Xu Xiaoguang to the construction site.

As soon as they arrived at the construction site, Su Xinghui saw a group of hooligan-like people confronting the workers of the project department at the construction site. There were twenty or thirty of these hooligans, with cigarettes in their mouths, holding lethal weapons like wooden sticks and water pipes in their hands. Some people were even holding homemade machetes, weighing them in their hands, looking extremely arrogant.

And those workers were all holding tools they used for work at the construction site, like iron hammers and shovels; some were holding a section of steel bar. They were staring at these hooligans with angry faces.

There were more than a hundred of these workers. Except for the twenty or thirty Xu Xiaoguang brought from Shangjun, they were basically workers recruited in Matou Town. The people of Matou Town had a fierce style and were not afraid of these hooligans at all. These hooligans coming to the construction site to make trouble was equivalent to not letting them work. If they couldn't work, they would have no income. How could they endure this?

If it weren't for a few management personnel of the project department separating the two sides in the middle, it is estimated that these workers would have swarmed up long ago and beaten these hooligans until they fled in panic.

Ma Sheng shouted from far away, "Who are you people? Why are you coming to the construction site to make trouble?"
