Chapter 2246

Nie Xin nodded. He certainly knew about the agricultural product processing factory of the Indonesian Luo Group. This was also one of the key enterprises in Chongjin County now, which could deeply process the agricultural products of Chongjin County and digest the rich agricultural products of Chongjin County. Nie Xin himself also attached great importance to this processing factory.

Chongjin County used to be an agriculture-based county. The agricultural output value alone could reach several hundred million, which was not a small number, accounting for more than 60% of the original total output value of Chongjin County. And this processing factory could greatly increase the added value of these agricultural products, so Nie Xin naturally attached importance to it.

However, could agricultural industrialization be achieved by relying solely on such a processing factory?

Nie Xin still had some doubts about this.

Su Xinghui said, "Of course, it is impossible to achieve the agricultural industrialization of Chongjin County by relying on just one processing factory, but the agriculture of Chongjin County still has great potential to be tapped. In the future, we can also introduce more enterprises related to agriculture to truly achieve industrialization."

Nie Xin nodded thoughtfully. Su Xinghui's words made him truly think about problems in this area. Over the past year, he had invested huge energy in repairing embankments and flood control and disaster relief, but he had not thought too much about developing the agriculture of Chongjin County. It seemed that it was time to put his energy into this now.

Su Xinghui said, "For example, Yanglan Lake. Our county is implementing the return of farmland to the lake. Although we have lost 100 square kilometers of fertile land, haven't we gained 100 square kilometers of lake surface? This lake surface also has output, and the output is not necessarily less than 100 square kilometers of land. This is a growth point."

Nie Xin nodded and said, "Yes, we can strengthen fishery production."

Su Xinghui said, "The water quality of Yanglan Lake is excellent. We can fully engage in special breeding, breeding some economic fish, or aquatic animals with high economic value such as crabs. And the breeding method can use the currently relatively advanced cage breeding. I think you can use your brain more in this area recently."

Nie Xin felt a sense of sudden enlightenment. The return of farmland to the lake in Chongjin County originally made him very troubled. 100 square kilometers, and all of it was fertile land. Losing such a large piece of good farmland would certainly affect the total grain output of Chongjin County.

But Su Xinghui's guidance suddenly broadened his thinking. Yes, couldn't we engage in special breeding?

Of course, no one in Chongjin County had engaged in this cage breeding before, so he still needed to find someone to give guidance in terms of technology. But with this idea, there was a direction.

Nie Xin said happily, "Yes, the hairy crabs of our Chongjin County are very famous. If we engage in special breeding of hairy crabs in Yanglan Lake, it will definitely have a very promising future."

Su Xinghui smiled and said, "In the future, maybe the hairy crabs of Yanglan Lake alone can create achievements no less than the current total agricultural output value of Chongjin County."

Nie Xin nodded and said, "County Magistrate, you have really inspired me. Starting next year, I will vigorously develop special breeding in Chongjin County and let Yanglan Lake contribute wealth to us." ===== CHAPTER 2248 =====
