Chapter 2750

Su Xinghui nodded, "Having such a work attitude is good. To be a good government chief, one must often go deep into the grassroots. Only by understanding the first-hand situation of the grassroots can one prescribe the right medicine and govern this place well."

Xing Guodong also nodded and accepted the teaching. He naturally knew that he was a pure theorist before, and he had great weaknesses in practice, especially the situation at the grassroots level, which he didn't know much about.

He should indeed be down-to-earth, go deep into the grassroots. Since he had already made the choice to follow Su Xinghui, he should throw himself down, put down his shelf, and be a county magistrate with muddy legs.

Su Xinghui asked again, "How long does the heavy snow blocking the mountains usually last? How many townships in the whole county will be blocked by heavy snow?"

Xing Guodong said, "The heavy snow blocking the mountains will usually last for more than three months. There are five or six townships in the whole county that will be blocked by heavy snow. The roads in other townships will also not be easy to walk when the snow season arrives."

Su Xinghui said, "If the heavy snow blocks the mountains, how is traffic maintained?"

Xing Guodong said, "When the heavy snow blocks the mountains, in some places where the terrain is slightly flat, cars can still pass. However, in places where the mountains are high and the roads are dangerous, cars cannot pass. The shuttle buses will stop, and the traffic inside and outside the mountains will basically rely on walking."

Su Xinghui nodded again. He didn't know much about such a situation. This was the difference between the north and the south. He was a southerner. Although he had worked in a mountainous county like Changshan County, there would not be extreme weather phenomena like heavy snow blocking the mountains there.

It seems that Baozhou's economic development is not satisfactory, which also has something to do with the natural conditions and climate conditions here.
