Chapter 2776

As soon as he returned to Baozhou, he discovered the solemnity in the atmosphere, and many municipal leaders had their brows locked.

He knew that the provincial committee investigation team had already begun to investigate the mine pollution problem in Baozhou City, and on the internet and in newspapers, one report after another was still being published continuously, adding fuel to the fire for this storm.

However, among these reports, there was also a report with a completely opposite stance, which was published by the famous reporter from the provincial capital, Wang Guoqing, who was beaten. He defended Yinshan County, saying that he had gone to Yinshan County for an on-site investigation, and the mine pollution in Yinshan County was not as serious as the post on the internet claimed.

He said that there was indeed some mine pollution in Yinshan County, but wasn't this the price that should be paid during the process of economic development? In which place does the economy need to develop without polluting the environment at all? Is protecting the environment more important, or is letting the common people have enough to eat more important?

He also said that the Yinshan County Committee and County Government were also very concerned about environmental protection, and they had also made great efforts to restore the environment and made reasonable compensation to the common people in the mining area. Therefore, the post on the internet was completely fearing that the world would not be in chaos, making waves there, and had ulterior motives.

It must be said that some of Wang Guoqing's remarks were still very misleading, and it was also a topic that was debated a lot nowadays. Whether to have the environment or to have development, in this era, the voice for development still had the upper hand.

After all, China was still a developing country, with too many impoverished people, and many people could not eat enough, while the serious harm of environmental pollution had not yet been understood by most people. ===== CHAPTER 2778 =====
