Chapter 2847

Su Xinghui said, "Then did he encounter any difficulties in this special action?"

Xing Guodong nodded, "Of course, he encountered difficulties. Mainly, someone inside the Public Security Bureau tipped off the criminals. After the criminals were caught, many leaders called to plead for them. The pressure he bore was very great."

Su Xinghui laughed, "Then you should have borne a lot of pressure for him, right?"

Xing Guodong said, "I told him anyway, no matter who calls to plead, push it to me, let others come to me. If someone really comes to me, I will handle it according to principle. If they have the ability, they can remove me as county magistrate."

Xing Guodong's backer was Su Xinghui, so naturally, no one could remove him, but this also showed Xing Guodong's determination.

Su Xinghui said solemnly, "You still have to pay attention to safety."

Xing Guodong said, "This is no problem. Ren Weidong now arranges for police and auxiliary police to patrol the streets every day. Those criminals are terrified, and they are too late to run. Who dares to wander on the street? It's just that some mine owners sent me gifts, and I refused them all."

Su Xinghui said, "Oh, someone sent you gifts? What did they send?"

Xing Guodong said, "All kinds of things, not one thing. Mobile phones, tea, cigarettes and alcohol, watches, jewelry, and some even brought money directly. They are quite willing to spend money."

Now Yinshan County is also rectifying mines, and the intensity is very great. Coupled with this special action of the County Public Security Bureau, it also involved many mine owners, so they were a bit restless and wanted to send gifts to Xing Guodong to let him raise his hand.

Su Xinghui said, "Then you were not moved at all?"

Xing Guodong laughed, "If I say I was not moved at all, that is a lie. But I know that if I really accepted these things, I would really be finished."

Su Xinghui said, "You did a good job. People should have a sense of awe. If there is only desire in the heart and no awe, this person is really finished. I give you four words: 'No desire is strong'!"

Xing Guodong took the opportunity to say, "Mayor Su, your calligraphy is good. Can you write these four words and give them to me? I will hang them in the office to warn myself every day."

Su Xinghui laughed, "You are really good at climbing the snake with the stick, but it is good to have such a mind. Well, I will write one for you after I return to Baozhou, and you can find me to take it next time you go to Baozhou City."

Xing Guodong said happily, "Then thank you, Mayor Su."

Su Xinghui said with a serious face, "Guodong, your future is very broad, so you need to strictly demand yourself even more. Don't take things you shouldn't take, don't stretch your hands where you shouldn't stretch. Otherwise, I won't be able to save you by then, and I will be the first to deal with you instead!"

Xing Guodong knew that Su Xinghui's words were not false. Su Xinghui had such a style when he was in the Planning Commission. He didn't take anything he shouldn't take. In his official career for so many years, he didn't know how many people had reported him, but his problems had never been investigated.

This point was also the place where Xing Guodong admired Su Xinghui the most. A young leading cadre like Su Xinghui could withstand temptation and have such a firm will. It was really too difficult.

Xing Guodong also said seriously, "Mayor Su, please rest assured about this. I will definitely keep your teachings in mind, refuse corrosion, and never touch it. If I really have a day of being corroded, you can deal with me, and I will have no complaints!"
