Chapter 2871

In addition, these community-run teachers spent most of their time on teaching, and they couldn't even take care of the land at home. Their income was lower than that of farmers, so where would they get the money to find a way?

Su Xinghui said, "Then how many community-run teachers in the whole city were converted to public-run this time?"

Luo Guoxiu said, "There are less than 1,000 people in the whole city who were converted to public-run. In addition, there are hundreds of people who can enter the city's normal college for further training. After the training, they can be converted into public-run teachers."

Su Xinghui said, "Then why couldn't Guo Houde be converted to public-run?"

Luo Guoxiu said, "Guo Houde's conditions are not the best. In addition, he is old. Whether it is conversion to public-run or further training, we mainly give priority to young teachers."

Su Xinghui pondered for a moment and asked, "How much does it cost to train at the normal college?"

Luo Guoxiu said, "Each person has various expenses of about 6,000 yuan."

Su Xinghui gasped, "More than 6,000? Does this 6,000 include their living expenses?"

Luo Guoxiu shook his head and said, "It doesn't include it. Not only does it not include it, but their salaries during the training period cannot be paid."

Su Xinghui said, "With such high expenses, how many people are willing to go for training?"

Luo Guoxiu smiled bitterly, "Indeed, many community-run teachers who received the further training notice did not go for training."

Su Xinghui said, "Then do you think this is too unfair to them? You guys cut everything with one knife like this, what standard did you use to dismiss them?"

Luo Guoxiu said, "The province did introduce some standards. The first is those who have failed the annual assessment for two consecutive years or three cumulative years. The second is those who have violated the family planning policy and received administrative sanctions. The third is those who have poor teacher ethics and have illegal and disciplinary behaviors."

Su Xinghui asked, "Then do they meet these standards?"

Luo Guoxiu said, "I'll tell you the truth. This is just an excuse. No matter whether they meet this standard or not, they have to be cut with one knife. Otherwise, the city's fiscal pressure is too great to bear."

Su Xinghui pondered for a long time and then said, "Forget it, let's not talk here. Let's go in. We can't leave them here."
