Chapter 2956

Su Xinghui asked, "Old Shi, is there really no other host at the Municipal Television Station who can be brought out?"

Shi Chenguang said, "Since I took office, I have also conducted an understanding of the television station's staff. I want to get the television station's work up and running, but to be honest, at present, there is not a single host, especially a female host, at the Baozhou Municipal Television Station who can be mentioned in the same breath as Ling Shanshan in terms of professional level. It can be said that once Ling Shanshan is transferred, the quality and ratings of the television station's programs will inevitably decline."

After Shi Chenguang became this Radio and Television Bureau Chief, he naturally wanted to do a good job. So how to do a good job? The simplest way was, of course, to improve the quality of programs and increase ratings, which was also a main means to enrich the people's cultural and entertainment life.

Of course, to increase ratings, one could not engage in some vulgar things, which was also not allowed by Su Xinghui. Then one could only improve the quality of programs. To improve the quality of programs, one had to rely on talents. Good talents could improve the quality of programs.

And these talents included producers, cameramen, directors, hosts, and all kinds of talents. However, these were also the talents that the Baozhou Municipal Television Station was currently lacking, especially hosts. A host like Ling Shanshan, who was excellent in appearance, temperament, and talent, was really hard to come by.

Now, good hosts, who didn't go to big cities? It was really too difficult to find another host with Ling Shanshan's level.

Su Xinghui naturally understood this truth, so he also hoped to retain Ling Shanshan. Ling Shanshan's personal style problem was her private morality. In terms of professional ability and work, she had no problems. It was too pity to let her go just like that.

However, Su Xinghui estimated that it would be difficult to keep Ling Shanshan, because that day he saw Ling Shanshan with Cheng Huangong with his own eyes. She climbed up to a Vice Governor, so what reason did she have to stay in Baozhou City?

Of course, Su Xinghui still had to retain her in any case, which could be considered as doing his best and knowing his destiny.

Su Xinghui said, "Old Shi, how about this: I will meet with Ling Shanshan and strive to keep her. But if she cannot be kept, we must have a second plan. You see if there are any newcomers in the television station who can be cultivated, cultivate them well, and then see if we can introduce some talents."

Shi Chenguang nodded and said, "Okay, I understand, Mayor Su."

Shi Chenguang called Ling Shanshan and said that Mayor Su wanted to see her, which made Ling Shanshan's heart somewhat uneasy.

If there was anyone in Baozhou City who could make Ling Shanshan's heart ripple, it was only Su Xinghui. Su Xinghui was too dazzling, simply like a sun, always able to attract everyone's attention, and Ling Shanshan was no exception.

At the first sight of Su Xinghui, Ling Shanshan was attracted by him. She felt that Su Xinghui was a perfect man.

In the subsequent contact with Su Xinghui, although Su Xinghui kept Ling Shanshan at a distance many times, this further demonstrated his personality charm, making Ling Shanshan admire him even more.

Although Ling Shanshan felt that she had fallen into darkness, her heart still yearned for light, so she would be unconsciously attracted by such an open and honest person as Su Xinghui.

However, she had been in the darkness for a long time, and suddenly seeing such light, she was afraid that she would be burned by the light.

This time she wanted to be transferred to Yanzhong City, originally wanting to solve this matter in the bureau. Unexpectedly, Shi Chenguang still reported it to Su Xinghui. Ling Shanshan was very hesitant. Should she go to see Su Xinghui?

After hesitating for a long time, Ling Shanshan still decided to go to see Su Xinghui.

This time seeing Su Xinghui, Ling Shanshan's dress was different from the last time Su Xinghui saw her in Yanzhong City. She was no longer wearing a dress, but a white-top-black-bottom professional suit. The upper body was a shirt, the lower body was long trousers, and her long black shiny hair was also tied into a ponytail with a rubber band. Her face was lightly powdered, appearing very dignified.

Su Xinghui couldn't help but think of what Ling Shanshan looked like when he saw her several times before. Before, when she saw Su Xinghui, she was dressed very sexily, very mature, and unrestrained, with strong sexual hints.

That time when he saw her at the Provincial Government Guest House, she was dressed very purely, her hair was straightened, like a female college student on campus, but her pink dress was very short, short to above the knees, which was also a very sexy outfit.

But this time, she was dressed so dignified, and her temperament seemed to have changed into another person. This made Su Xinghui sigh that women were really fickle, and he could also see that Ling Shanshan's state of mind had also changed somewhat now.

Ling Shanshan said somewhat restrainedly, "Mayor Su, are you looking for me?"

Su Xinghui said, "Ling Shanshan, I heard that you want to be transferred to the Yanzhong Municipal Urban Television Station?"

Ling Shanshan lowered her head and said a barely audible "Hmm," representing an affirmative answer to Su Xinghui's question.

Su Xinghui said, "I won't ask you why you want to be transferred to Yanzhong City, because the answer to this question is obvious. People go to high places, water flows to low places. Your choice is understandable. However, I still want to retain you. My reason is also obvious. You are a talent, and the Baozhou Municipal Television Station needs you."

Su Xinghui's high evaluation of her made Ling Shanshan feel somewhat sweet in her heart, and Su Xinghui's honesty also made her feel much more relaxed.

That time at the Provincial Government Guest House, she was beside Cheng Huangong and was seen by Su Xinghui. I don't know why, but it always made Ling Shanshan feel somewhat shy, making her feel that she couldn't lift her head in front of Su Xinghui.

She originally thought that Su Xinghui might mention that day's matter today. Unexpectedly, Su Xinghui not only didn't mention it, but also understood her choice so much, and gave her a high evaluation, hoping to retain her.

Ling Shanshan asked in a very small voice, "Am I really a talent?"

Su Xinghui said, "Of course. The several programs you hosted, from news to life, were all hosted very well. Your hosting style is changeable, both solemn and lively, and also very close to the people. The ratings explain everything. I like to watch those programs. You are the pillar of the Baozhou Municipal Television Station. If you leave, the ratings of the Municipal Television Station will definitely decline."

Ling Shanshan raised her head and said, "Mayor Su, have you really watched the programs I hosted, and do you really think I hosted them well?" ===== CHAPTER 2958 =====
