Chapter 2982

That night, at around two in the morning, Ling Shanshan finally woke up. She woke up because of an intense feeling of thirst. As soon as she woke up, she wanted to find water to drink.

Liu Xin said joyfully, "Shanshan, you're awake!"

Ling Shanshan saw Liu Xin, was stunned for a moment, and then asked, "Liu Xin, why are you here?"

Ling Shanshan saw that she was lying on her own bed, while Liu Xin was sitting by her bed, which puzzled her greatly. What was this situation?

However, she immediately remembered that she had gone to have dinner with Cheng Kaibin and the others last night. Later, it seemed she had gotten drunk and had a blackout, and she didn't remember anything that happened afterward. Now, as soon as she opened her eyes, she was in her dormitory, and she completely didn't understand what had happened later.

However, as soon as she thought about being gotten drunk in front of that group of people, she had some faint worries. She quickly checked her body; her clothes were on properly, and there was no abnormal feeling below, so she felt slightly relieved.

Liu Xin got up to pour a glass of hot water for Ling Shanshan and took a bag of brown sugar from the small refrigerator to make a glass of brown sugar water. Ling Shanshan had a problem with dysmenorrhea, so she kept brown sugar in her refrigerator long-term.

Liu Xin handed the brown sugar water to Ling Shanshan and said, "Shanshan, you don't know how dangerous it was last night."

Ling Shanshan said, "What's wrong? What happened?"

Liu Xin said, "Drink a glass of brown sugar water first, then we'll talk. It'll help you sober up; you drank too much."

Ling Shanshan sipped it little by little. After drinking that glass of brown sugar water, she felt much better.

Only then did Liu Xin tell Ling Shanshan about what happened last night. After hearing it, Ling Shanshan felt a lingering fear. Liu Xin said that when Su Xinghui kicked the door open, Cheng Kaibin had already stripped her like a white sheep, and he himself had stripped down to the last step. If it had been a few seconds later, it was feared that Cheng Kaibin would have already succeeded.

Ling Shanshan gritted her teeth and said, "That beast!"

Liu Xin said, "Yes, he really is a tasteless man. Fortunately, you were lucky and were discovered by Mayor Su, otherwise, you would have been miserable."

Ling Shanshan was furious at Cheng Kaibin's behavior, but she also knew that this matter could probably only be handled this way. Could she still sue Cheng Kaibin for rape?

Thinking of this, Ling Shanshan was even more grateful to Su Xinghui. If it weren't for Su Xinghui, it could be said that if it had been anyone else in Baozhou City last night, it would have been impossible to handle this matter so well.

Liu Xin smiled and said, "Don't worry, I helped you put on your clothes. I wrapped you in my coat and brought you back. Absolutely no one saw you. However, your figure is really good; even I am envious after seeing it. No wonder that Cheng Kaibin went to such great lengths to plot against you."

Liu Xin had a good relationship with Xin Jing. In the past, when Xin Jing was in charge of the Radio and Television Bureau, she had dealt with Ling Shanshan a few times and had eaten together a few times, so Liu Xin and Ling Shanshan could be considered friends, although they had become a bit estranged in the past year. Now, after this incident, the two of them suddenly became as close as sisters again.

The joke Liu Xin made actually made Ling Shanshan a bit shy, and her body inexplicably felt a bit hot.

She asked shyly, "Then when Mayor Su kicked the door open, he wouldn't have seen my... right?"

Liu Xin smiled and said, "Seen what of yours?"

Ling Shanshan lightly punched Liu Xin's shoulder with her small fist and said, "You're asking when you know the answer."

Liu Xin smiled and said, "Of course he saw it, but Mayor Su is a gentleman. He took one look and immediately looked elsewhere, and then had me cover you up. Why? Are you still afraid that Mayor Su saw your body?"

Ling Shanshan said, "I'm not afraid. I think you're the one who is dying to let Mayor Su see your body, right? Tell me, how did Mayor Su call you over? Is it that you and Mayor Su have something going on?"

Liu Xin said, "Don't talk nonsense. It doesn't matter if my reputation is ruined, don't ruin Mayor Su's reputation, that would be a great sin for us."
