Chapter 3154

Time flew to the end of March. The snow in Baozhou City had melted completely, the frozen earth had thawed, and it was the season for all things to recover.

On this day, Su Xinghui arrived at the newly established Mabu Automobile Industrial Park. He had come this time to inspect the industrial park.

Accompanying Su Xinghui, besides cadres from the industrial park like Chen Zengxiang, were Hou Wenhai and several senior executives from Ernest Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. These executives had all come from Europe and were the original management personnel of the Ernest company.

Some of the original Ernest company executives had left the company after it was acquired by the Hou Group because the Hou Group intended to relocate the company to China, and they were unwilling to come to China.

However, there were also other management and technical personnel who were willing to go to China because the salary offered by the Hou Group was higher than what the original company had paid. Furthermore, China's current development speed was extremely fast, attracting the attention of the whole world, and they felt that coming to China might be the best opportunity of their lives.

Their Ernest company was really not a large company in Europe, so their status and income in Europe were not that high. But in China, given the current momentum of China's economic development, they might obtain much higher status and income than they had now.

Ernest Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. had leased a piece of land nearly five square kilometers in size in the central area of the Mabu Industrial Park. This land was originally a hilly area, but now various construction machines had moved in to level the hills, and the leveling work was nearly complete.

Su Xinghui said to Hou Wenhai, "Mr. Hou, this is truly a grand gesture!"

Hou Wenhai said, "If we don't get a larger place, we won't be able to stretch our legs. As the company develops in the future, we might need to acquire even more land."

Su Xinghui said, "That is no problem. Once your company develops, the industrial park will also have to expand its scale, and there will be plenty of land by then."

Chen Zengxiang said with a smile, "Mr. Hou, if your company could lease all fifty square kilometers of the industrial park's land, we would all be happy!"

Hou Wenhai laughed and said, "If that day really comes, then I will rely on your auspicious words, Director Chen."

The group walked to a small hill that had not yet been leveled by the bulldozers. Looking out, construction machinery was roaring everywhere on the vast, empty land, and power workers were erecting utility poles. Not far to the west was the construction site of the Baojing Expressway.

This scene of bustling activity made Su Xinghui's heart surge with emotion; this was the magnificent scene he had created with his own hands! In the near future, majestic factory buildings and high-rise buildings would stand here, and these desolate hills and mountains would become factories and enterprises, creating value for Baozhou City.

Su Xinghui said, "When is the first phase of the project expected to be completed?"
