Chapter 321

Chen Hanxiu is considered one of the top figures in the field of art education in the province; for Xia Zhu to have the opportunity to study under him is indeed a rare stroke of fortune.

After finishing dinner at Yezhugou, the group returned to the township government. Su Xinghui dropped them off at the Lu Family Inn and arranged to take them to visit the remaining villages tomorrow so they could find suitable locations for sketching. Su Xinghui then returned to the township government office himself.

Upon returning to the township government, he saw that the lights were still on in Chen Hongfu's office. Su Xinghui walked over and saw that Dong Jianshu and several other township leaders were also there. He couldn't help but ask with a smile, "What major event are you all discussing?"

Seeing that he had returned, Chen Hongfu waved him over and said, "There really is a major event to discuss. Come and sit down quickly."

After Su Xinghui went in and sat down, he said, "Everyone is so happy; is another leader coming to inspect?"

Dong Jianshu said, "Hey, how did you know? Did you get some inside information? Let me tell you, Comrade Lu Zhenghong, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the Provincial Party Committee, is coming to our Meng Hu Ling Township for an inspection on February 16th!"

Although Su Xinghui had long known the news that Lu Zhenghong was coming to inspect, he still had to put on a look of surprise at this moment: "Township Head Dong, are you telling the truth?"

Dong Jianshu nodded, beaming with joy: "Of course it's true. The County Party Committee has already called to notify us. Comrade Lu Zhenghong is coming to our township to inspect the implementation of the province-wide agricultural reform pilot project. This is the work you are in charge of, and we are currently holding a meeting to discuss the reception arrangements."

Chen Hongfu said, "It has been confirmed that the main leaders from the region and the county will accompany Comrade Lu Zhenghong to our township for the inspection. With so many leaders coming, we must do a good job with the reception. Comrades, this is a great opportunity. All the work we have done in Meng Hu Ling can now be showcased before the leaders."
