Chapter 3236: Personal Protection

However, Su Xinghui was not nervous at all. He immediately took out his mobile phone and called Gu Aimin, telling him his and Ren Weidong's current location and their current situation.

As soon as Gu Aimin received Su Xinghui's call, he became very nervous. The last incident with Ye Bingsheng naturally had some impact on him. He found many connections, and plus Su Xinghui didn't want to do anything to him, so he passed the test. Of course, criticism was inevitable.

So Gu Aimin was very polite to Su Xinghui now. As soon as he heard that someone was attacking Su Xinghui with a gun, he was furious. He asked Su Xinghui not to hang up the phone, and they kept in touch at any time. Then he called the Public Security Bureau on the landline, asking them to immediately send a large team to the scene to rescue Mayor Su and Captain Ren, and to capture the gunman.

After issuing the order on the landline, Gu Aimin called Zhao Yichen again. Zhao Yichen was also extremely angry when he heard that such a thing had happened. The deputy mayor of Baozhou City had actually encountered an attack by a gunman. This kind of thing was simply shocking!

He immediately instructed Gu Aimin to handle this matter well, must ensure the safety of Su Xinghui and Ren Weidong, and must capture the criminals. Gu Aimin nodded and bowed.

Su Xinghui heard both of the calls Gu Aimin made. He knew that he should be safe.

Ren Weidong picked up a brick on the ground as a weapon for self-defense. He poked his head out from behind the snow pile to check the situation in front, and Su Xinghui also dug a square brick from the sidewalk as a weapon. Now they had nothing else on them that could be used as a weapon.

This time Ren Weidong poked his head out, but it did not attract any gunfire. Ren Weidong did not see anyone under the streetlights. He estimated that the gunman should have already left.

Just then, the shrill siren sounded. More than a dozen police cars drove over quickly, stopped on this street, and surrounded the surrounding blocks. The police got out of the police cars, hid behind the police cars separately, took out their guns, and aimed at the street in front.

There were also several police officers who rushed to Ren Weidong and Su Xinghui, who were waving to them, and asked about their situation. Ren Weidong and Su Xinghui were both fine, which made them feel relieved.

Ren Weidong said: "The gunman is estimated to have left. You should be careful, search the scene, pay attention to protecting the scene, and don't destroy the traces he left behind. This gunman is very professional, don't be careless."
