Chapter 3266

And in the several industrial parks in Baozhou, the speed of earthwork is very fast. This is because a large amount of construction machinery is used, especially by those large enterprises. Their capital is abundant, and with large amounts of funds invested, the speed of earthwork cannot be slow even if they wanted it to be.

Many of those undertaking the earthwork projects here are large companies like Haimin Construction and the Mi Group. Their technical strength is strong, they have a lot of construction machinery, and they have applied many new technologies to construction, which has further accelerated the progress of their projects.

Of course, this is also because the precipitation in Baozhou is relatively low, and there is no plum rain season like in the south, so this can be considered an advantage of Baozhou, allowing their projects to rarely be interrupted by rain.

What Su Xinghui is looking at now is exactly the project construction site of the Hanhai Group. Accompanying him, besides Liu Xin, is Chang Xianfa.

Su Xinghui asked: "At the current speed, when can this phase of the project be built?"

Chang Xianfa said: "It will probably take five to six months. The group attaches great importance to this project, so the supply of funds is guaranteed. As long as there are funds, the construction of this project will be very fast."

Su Xinghui nodded. He was still very satisfied with this speed.

Due to the good relationship between Hou Wenchang and Xu Xiaoguang, this project is undertaken by Haimin Construction. Haimin Construction's strength is, of course, beyond question. They are now a famous construction enterprise in the country, having undertaken many large projects with great influence in the industry, and winning the Luban Prize is not a one-time thing.

They now have a wealth of talent and many innovations in construction technology, which makes the projects they undertake both fast and good. Therefore, it can be considered a win-win for the Hanhai Group to hand this project over to them.

Besides this project, other enterprises investing in the park have also started earthwork. The whole park is a scene of prosperity. Developing at this speed, by the second half of this year, these enterprises can all start normal operations.

Now these enterprises have all rented office buildings in the Baozhou urban area and have started recruiting people. There are many talents from other places coming to Baozhou, many of whom are aiming for these companies that are famous in the IT industry. After they recruited people, they have already started working. However, working in such office buildings is only a stopgap measure.

Su Xinghui said: "President Chang, yours is the most vibrant industry. No wonder the speed of earthwork is so fast!"

Chang Xianfa said: "That's for sure. I also want to move into the new office building to work as soon as possible. The new office building adopts many new technologies, such as installing photovoltaic power generation equipment on the roof, which can supply electricity for the whole building. In addition, through special design, it can make the office building warm in winter and cool in summer without extra energy, and so on."

Su Xinghui had indeed heard Hou Wenchang say that this new office building would be a collection of today's new construction technologies. At that time, it would be extremely modern and become a landmark building of the Weiqi Electronic Information Industrial Park.

Su Xinghui smiled and said: "If I had known earlier, our Baozhou Municipal Government's office building should have adopted such high-tech design. Only then would it fit the vibrant and upward image of the Baozhou Municipal Government!"

Everyone laughed. In fact, Su Xinghui was of course joking. He also knew that such a design is good, but it is very expensive. Otherwise, why would Hou Wenchang invest the huge figure of one billion? This office building also has some trends of intelligence. The Baozhou Municipal Government could never have afforded to build such an office building at that time, and even now, it is impossible to spend so much money to build it.

The money of the Baozhou Municipal Government is taken from the people and must be used for the people, not for them to enjoy themselves.

Su Xinghui wandered around the construction site. He saw that the workers here were all wearing masks, and the walls of the project department were also painted with the slogan "United as one, fighting SARS." It seems that the shadow of the SARS epidemic also shrouded here. The municipal government did indeed issue a notice, asking all enterprises and workers on construction sites to take protective measures to effectively fight the SARS epidemic.

Su Xinghui said: "President Chang, you haven't discovered any fever patients here, have you?"

Chang Xianfa said: "Not yet. We are very careful every day. We disinfect the construction site dormitories every day and also measure everyone's body temperature. This is not something to joke about. If a SARS case appears, the whole construction site will have to stop work, and that will delay the construction period."

Su Xinghui nodded and said: "Being careful is right. SARS is indeed a fierce disease, highly contagious, and difficult to treat. However, we should not be afraid. No matter what, it is just a disease. As long as we take good preventive measures, we should be able to defeat it. Are you afraid?"

Su Xinghui asked Chang Xianfa and the Hanhai Group employees on site, as well as Liu Xin and other staff of the Management Committee. They all shook their heads and said: "Not afraid!"

Su Xinghui smiled and said: "Actually, fear is a very normal emotion. It is possible to die from SARS. But now we know what kind of disease it is. Foreign research institutions have already performed whole-genome sequencing on it, so it is no longer that scary now. Everyone works normally, and you shouldn't get SARS for no reason."

In fact, it is not just on the construction site of the Weiqi Industrial Park; the construction sites and enterprises in the whole city are now in such a scene. Large slogans fighting SARS are painted on the walls, and workers are all wearing white medical masks, but they are all working with high spirits. The economic construction work of the whole Baozhou City has not been significantly affected.
