Chapter 3726

Yang Yuanshen said, "Sigh, many of my students stay abroad and don't return. I wrote letters and made phone calls asking them to return, but they all refuse to return."

Speaking of this, Yang Yuanshen shook his head and sighed. For a person like him, serving the motherland was his simplest value. But it happened that many students he taught were unwilling to return to China to participate in construction. How could he not feel pain?

Su Xinghui asked, "General Manager Gu, you have also studied abroad and worked abroad, and now you have returned. Can you say what the reasons for those students studying abroad to stay abroad to work are? And why did you choose to return to China?"

Gu Sheng pondered for a moment and said, "There are many reasons for students studying abroad to stay abroad to work. It cannot be denied that some people are greedy for better living conditions and higher income abroad. But for me personally, it is because the scientific research conditions abroad are better, allowing me to better conduct scientific research. The conditions in China in this regard are still too much worse than abroad."

Gu Sheng's words were actually still reserved. Su Xinghui also knew that in China, the phenomenon of academic corruption was too serious. Now doing scientific research was not as pure as it was originally. This was also one of the main reasons why China had been unable to make breakthroughs in many technological aspects.

In addition, those technologically powerful countries implemented embargoes on China, so many high-tech scientific research instruments could not be imported into China at all, so many experiments could not be done, or they didn't have such good effects after being done. This was also the biggest reason affecting these students studying abroad.

The things they learned, if they returned to China without the support of advanced instruments, they might not be able to complete them at all. Then what were they returning to China for?

Gu Sheng continued, "Like those of us who returned to China this time, how could we not have the motherland in our hearts? We also want to participate in the construction of the motherland. However, for the majors we studied, if there are no latest instruments and equipment, there is no place to use them after returning to China. This time, General Manager Hou and the others gave us the best working conditions and personally came to invite us. If we didn't agree, that would be too much."

Speaking of this, Gu Sheng also shook his head and sighed. Yes, how could they not hope to participate in the construction of the motherland? No matter where they go, they are Chinese. Only when the motherland is strong do they have status overseas. They are the batch of people who most hope that the motherland will become strong.

Another senior executive of Linshan Coal Chemical also said, "Yes, how could students studying abroad not have the motherland in their hearts? We are also not easy abroad. Chinese are one of the groups most discriminated against overseas. Even with high educational background and high wages, they still don't get respect. We are also missing the motherland all the time!"

Another person said, "If we can provide relatively good scientific research conditions for students studying abroad now, even if it is still not as good as abroad and the living conditions are much worse than abroad, I think a large number of students studying abroad will choose to return to China."

"In fact, China is also becoming better and better now. Many cities are already no worse than abroad. I think we should appeal to students studying abroad overseas to return to China to participate in the construction of the motherland."

These students studying abroad who returned from overseas expressed their thoughts on returning to China one by one. Su Xinghui had also come into contact with some students studying abroad who returned from overseas over the years, such as Guan Tongfu, Xue Wenhu, Qiu Yu, and a large batch of students studying abroad hired by Hanhai Technology from abroad. They played an important role in China. The construction of the country cannot be separated from these students studying abroad.

Su Xinghui was also thinking, if all these students studying abroad overseas could be attracted back to China, what would China become? That would definitely be a very magnificent scene.

Su Xinghui said, "General Manager Gu, you can also exert your influence and use your real examples in China to attract these students studying abroad overseas to return to China! It would be even better if you could attract them to our Linshan."

Gu Sheng nodded and said, "We have been doing these things all the time. We are contacting our friends who are studying abroad, telling them that China is also developing very well now, hoping that they can return to China to develop their careers. There are more and more opportunities in China, and they will definitely be able to achieve a career after returning to China."

Su Xinghui said, "General Manager Gu, the things you are doing are very meaningful. One day, history will give you an evaluation you deserve."

Gu Sheng was a bit excited. He could hear how heavy the weight of this sentence Su Xinghui said was. Intellectuals, who doesn't have the desire to leave a name in history?

Gu Sheng said, "Mayor Su, I will definitely work hard to do this thing better in the future!"

Su Xinghui nodded with a smile. Having people with study abroad backgrounds like Gu Sheng do this kind of thing could be said to be a multiplier effect. If he could recruit more students studying abroad for Linshan City, it would have important significance for the development of Linshan City.
