Chapter 4038

He Fusheng said, "Only during the New Year do we have such good dishes. The provincial government sent some supplies, and every household was distributed a portion. In addition, I asked the fellow villagers in the mountains to buy a sheep they raised. This is a black goat, a specialty here, not found in other places. The taste is very good. Mayor Su, President Yu, Old Chai, you must eat more."

Su Xinghui said, "I won't be polite. Be careful that this pot of yours isn't enough!"

He Fusheng's wife, Fu Min, and Liao Xiaoyan came over with three plates of dishes. Fu Min said with a smile, "Mayor Su, just eat more. I have a big pot in the kitchen, I'm just afraid you won't have enough to eat."

Liao Xiaoyan leaned on a crutch with one hand and carried a plate of dishes with the other. She said happily, "Uncle Su, just eat. My mother stewed a whole sheep, and there is a big pot in the kitchen. If you can finish it today, then my mother will be the happiest!"
