Chapter 4111

Su Xinghui said, "Just some fruits and pastries, not a token of respect."

Teacher Lu looked at Lu Xiaoya and said, "Su Weizhen's mother didn't have to come. This should be several months, right?"

Lu Xiaoya said, "Teacher Lu, I must come today. You are Su Weizhen's head teacher. I hope you can manage him strictly."

Su Xinghui nodded and said, "Yes, Teacher Lu, I hope you can manage our Su Weizhen strictly in the future."

Teacher Lu was a bit surprised. She originally thought that Su Xinghui and his wife came to visit to hope that she could take more care of Su Weizhen. But she didn't expect that they actually came to let her manage Su Weizhen more strictly.

Teacher Lu actually had very rich experience in teaching the children of leaders. Because she was the best teacher in Linshan No. 1 Middle School, many leaders hoped to put their children in her class, which made her class have many leaders' children. Those leaders would often directly ask her to take care of their children, and it was directly letting the school leaders greet her.

Unexpectedly, such a big mayor as Su Xinghui came to visit with his wife today just to say this. This made Teacher Lu very surprised and also a bit moved. Such leaders were really rare!

Teacher Lu said, "Mayor Su, I heard that student Su Weizhen is an excellent student, excellent in character and learning. For such a student, you don't need me to manage him so strictly, right?"

Su Xinghui said, "Boys, sometimes they will still be a bit naughty, so Teacher Lu, you managing him strictly will do him no harm."

Teacher Lu nodded and said, "Alright, I will definitely manage him more tightly in the future."

Su Xinghui said, "Teacher Lu, then I will thank you in advance!"

Teacher Lu said, "Thank what? My old Huang and I have to thank you!"

Su Xinghui asked in surprise, "What are you thanking me for?"

Teacher Lu looked at her husband, who smiled and said, "Mayor Su, I am a teacher at Linshan University. This year, you increased investment in our education system, allowing our Linshan University to build several key laboratories. I naturally want to thank you!"

Teacher Lu also said, "Yes, this year our Linshan No. 1 Middle School's funding has also increased, and the school has added many advanced teaching instruments and equipment, so I also have to thank you!"

Su Xinghui then knew why they wanted to thank him. He smiled and waved his hand, saying, "You don't need to thank me for this. Increasing investment in education is what our municipal government should do."

Teacher Lu said, "Regardless, this is a good thing for us educators, so we should still thank you!"

Su Xinghui said to Teacher Lu's husband, Teacher Huang, "Are you a teacher at Linshan University?"

Teacher Huang said, "Yes, I am an associate professor in the Computing Department of Linshan University. This time, our Computing Department built a provincial key laboratory, and I also participated in the construction of this laboratory."

Su Xinghui nodded and said, "That's really great!"

Teacher Huang said, "Student Su Weizhen is a student of Professor Yang, the honorary principal of our school, right? He is really great. I have seen him several times. He is very polite. Professor Yang is willing to accept him as a student, so his studies must be very good."

Su Xinghui said, "It's okay. Your child must also be very good, right?"

Teacher Lu said, "It's okay. My son is studying at Beijing University, a sophomore."

Su Xinghui said, "Is that just okay? That's too amazing. What major is he studying?"

Su Xinghui was not surprised either. They had a special-grade teacher in their family and an associate professor at Linshan University. It was normal to teach a student at Beijing University.

A proud look also appeared on Teacher Lu's face, saying, "He is studying mathematics."

Su Xinghui was a bit surprised this time, because mathematics was really not a popular major now. For a student as excellent as Teacher Lu's son, few would choose mathematics. Most of them chose computing and finance, because these two majors had good prospects.

Su Xinghui said, "He chose mathematics? Why not study computing like Professor Huang?"

Teacher Huang laughed and said, "He is also quite interested in computing, but what he likes most is mathematics. He thinks mathematics is a fascinating science. When he solves problems, he can go a day and a night without eating or sleeping. Previously, he won a gold medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad."

Su Xinghui knew that there were indeed such people. Others felt that math problems were boring, but they did them with relish. They could stay in their studio and do problems all day, every day. It seemed that Teacher Huang and Teacher Lu's son was such a person.

He could win a gold medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad, which meant he was a top-notch talent in mathematics. Such talent was very precious. However, in the past few years, those talents who won gold medals in mathematics, physics, and chemistry in the International Olympiad often went abroad.

However, Su Xinghui certainly did not want Teacher Lu's son to go abroad. This was a heartbreaking brain drain. Su Xinghui hoped that such talents would all stay in the country and participate in the motherland's construction.

Su Xinghui smiled and said, "If he likes mathematics so much, he can enter Hanhai Technology's Research Institute after graduation!"

Thinking about it, in the country, the only place that could keep Teacher Lu's son might be Hanhai Technology's Research Institute. The scientific research conditions there were currently the best in the country. Combining hardware and software, no research institute was better than Hanhai Technology's Research Institute.

Teacher Huang nodded and said, "I have already told him not to go abroad after graduation and work at Hanhai Technology's Research Institute. That is a good place for scientific research. He basically agreed, but I don't know if Hanhai Technology will accept him."

Su Xinghui nodded and said, "That's really great. As for whether Hanhai Technology will accept him, you don't have to worry about that. Hanhai Technology cannot refuse a talent who has won a gold medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad."

Su Xinghui's words were definitely not perfunctory. Hanhai Technology indeed would not refuse a talent who had won a gold medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad. Such people were all top-notch talents. In fact, Hanhai Technology had already attracted many people who went abroad and won gold medals back.

Teacher Huang said he didn't know if Hanhai Technology would accept his son, which was just a humble remark. He naturally knew his son's quality. A winner of a gold medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad was really fought for everywhere. He was recommended to Beijing University.

Teacher Huang said, "I hope so. I hope he can exert his strengths at Hanhai Technology's Research Institute and become a talent useful to the country in the future."

Su Xinghui nodded and said, "He will definitely become a talent useful to the country!"

After returning from Teacher Lu's house, Lu Xiaoya said to Su Xinghui, "Xinghui, I really didn't expect Teacher Lu's son to be so amazing. This must also be taught by Teacher Lu. Niu Niu has such a head teacher, so we don't have to worry about his studies."

Su Xinghui also nodded with a smile and said, "Yes, we can rest assured about Niu Niu's studies in the future!" ===== CHAPTER 4113 =====
