Chapter 4163

On the day Fang Zhonglin arrived, the blizzard had stopped. Therefore, after intensive obstacle-clearing work, the expressway to Linshan had reopened, and Fang Zhonglin also came by car from the expressway.

Just past eight o'clock in the morning, Fang Zhonglin's motorcade came off the expressway. Seeing Qian Jianan, Su Xinghui, and others waiting at the intersection, his motorcade stopped in front of them, and Fang Zhonglin got out of the car.

Fang Zhonglin shook hands with Qian Jianan, Su Xinghui, and other city leaders one by one with a solemn expression, then asked, "How is the disaster situation in Linshan?"

Yanbei Province wasn't like the south, which often had floods, but snow disasters generally occurred every few years. Of course, northerners were accustomed to snow and didn't find it strange, so generally, smaller snow disasters wouldn't cause too much loss. However, this time Yanbei Province had been hit by blizzards for so many days, and the losses caused were quite large, so Fang Zhonglin's mood was still very heavy.

Qian Jianan said, "The disaster situation in Linshan City is also relatively severe. The snowfall was heavy, and the property damage is relatively large. However, the unfortunate fortune is that no death accidents occurred."

Fang Zhonglin nodded and said, "That's good. I will spend these few days touring your Linshan to see how the disaster situation is."

Linshan City was located in the northeast of Yanbei Province and could be considered the city with the highest latitude in Yanbei Province. Therefore, the climate every winter was relatively cold, and the snowfall was heavy. In this snow disaster, their snowfall could be considered one of the highest among all cities in the province. Therefore, Fang Zhonglin also expected that the disaster situation in Linshan City would not be light.

Precisely because of this, he felt very pleasantly surprised by the report from Linshan City that no one had died. But surprise was mixed with some suspicion: did really no one die? Could it be that they were lying about the military situation? That was why he came to the scene to see for himself. If it was really like this, then the leaders of Linshan deserved praise; if there was any lying, then they would have to be severely criticized.

Qian Jianan said, "Okay, please, Secretary Fang, inspect the disaster situation in our Linshan City."

Fang Zhonglin let Qian Jianan and Su Xinghui get into his car, and the motorcade headed to the Linshan Municipal Party Committee compound. He first wanted to listen to the detailed report from the Linshan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government on the snow disaster situation in Linshan City, and then decide where to go for inspection.

In the car, Fang Zhonglin looked at the scene outside the window with some curiosity. His last visit to Linshan was over a year ago, and he wanted to see what changes had taken place in Linshan over the past year.

The buildings on both sides of the road in Linshan were covered with thick snow, and the trees and plants in the sidewalks and flower beds also had a lot of snow, looking like a silver-clad world. However, the snow on the roads had been cleared and melted by road maintenance workers in time, so there was no snow on the roads, and the road conditions were excellent.

From this point, Fang Zhonglin could see the difference between Linshan and other cities. Even in Yan City, they didn't do as well as Linshan City in this regard. The roads in Yan City had snow and ice, leading to many car accidents, which made Fang Zhonglin very annoyed.

As a provincial capital city, you can't even handle such a small matter. News of such car accidents frequently appeared on the city TV station, making the public complain. It was truly incompetent.

Look at how well Linshan City did in this regard. In these details, Linshan City really did a very good job, which also reflected the combat effectiveness and execution of a local government.

From this, Fang Zhonglin was somewhat inclined to believe that no death accidents had occurred in Linshan City. Of course, he still had to go to the scene to inspect the specific situation.

He planned to go to a few places at random, especially shantytowns and rural areas. These places had many dilapidated houses and were prone to collapse accidents. If he went to places at random, it was unlikely that Linshan City could fake it.

Besides the roads, Fang Zhonglin was also looking at the urban construction of Linshan City. Having not been here for over a year, the changes in Linshan City were still quite significant. Many high-rise buildings had been erected on both sides of the road, and there were many construction sites that had started work but stopped due to the heavy snow. Presumably, by next year, another row of high-rise buildings would be erected.

The growth of a city relies on the completion of these high-rise buildings, and the height of these buildings determines the height of a city.

The changes in Linshan City were truly too great. Fang Zhonglin remembered that when he came to Linshan a few years ago, Su Xinghui hadn't come to Linshan yet. At that time, Linshan City was dilapidated. Compared to that time, the current Linshan City was simply two different eras.

Su Xinghui was indeed too powerful. No matter where he went, he could make that place undergo immediate and earth-shaking changes. This was truly a rare talent!

Fang Zhonglin sighed like this.

Looking out the window, Fang Zhonglin said to Su Xinghui, "Comrade Xinghui, the changes in Linshan City are great!"

Su Xinghui said, "Yes, Secretary Fang. Recently, many investors have come to Linshan to invest. Several new hotels, office buildings, and commercial-residential buildings have been invested in. The record for the tallest building in Linshan City has been broken several times. Now the tallest building is over two hundred meters, and the heart of Linshan City has become a new business district."

Following Su Xinghui's guidance, Fang Zhonglin looked at the high-rise buildings in the heart of Linshan City and nodded repeatedly. Linshan City really had a big vision, introducing so many large investors to invest in this business district, which also gave the city of Linshan a soul all of a sudden.
