Chapter 631

When Su Xinghui and Zhang Kaishan arrived at Lu Zhenghong's house, it was only 8:30 in the morning, and Lu Zhenghong was already waiting for them at home.

Lu Xiaoya was also at home. Seeing Su Xinghui and Zhang Kaishan arrive, she obediently poured two cups of tea for them. At an angle where no one could see, she made a face at Su Xinghui. Su Xinghui smiled at her, feeling warm inside.

Su Xinghui specially took out the medicinal tea he brought and said to Lu Zhenghong and Song Qiaoli, "Uncle Lu, Aunt Song, this is the tea I specially brought. It contains wild chrysanthemum and honeysuckle. Drinking it can clear the liver, improve eyesight, detoxify, and enhance immunity. This is good stuff. Remember to drink it every day; it's good for your health."

Lu Zhenghong and Song Qiaoli each took a box of medicinal tea and looked at the packaging. Lu Zhenghong said, "This is produced by an enterprise in your Meng Hu Ling."

Su Xinghui said, "Yes, these medicinal materials are grown in Meng Hu Ling, and this medicinal tea is also produced by an enterprise in Meng Hu Ling. This is the result of Meng Hu Ling's agricultural reform, which was achieved under your care. So I specially brought it for you to taste. It's not anything valuable, so it doesn't count as making you violate any principles."

Lu Zhenghong laughed heartily, "Okay, I'll accept it. Old Song, remember to drink it every day!"

Song Qiaoli nodded and said, "I think this stuff is not bad. Thank you, Xinghui!"

Lu Xiaoya asked, "Xinghui, can I drink it too?"

Su Xinghui said, "Of course you can drink it. Drink as much as you want. When you finish it, I'll bring more next time I come."

Lu Xiaoya said, "Who knows when you'll come next time?"

Su Xinghui said somewhat embarrassedly, "The work in the township is too busy now."

Lu Zhenghong smiled and said, "Xiaoya, that's enough. Comrade Kaishan, Xinghui, let's go, come with me to the study to talk."

Zhang Kaishan and Su Xinghui followed Lu Zhenghong into his study. Once inside, Lu Zhenghong asked them to sit down and then said with a smile, "Comrade Kaishan, your work in Shangjun County last year was done very well. The GDP growth was quite impressive, especially in terms of agricultural economy, which was done very well!"

Zhang Kaishan said, "This is mainly the credit of Meng Hu Ling Township. The GDP growth of Meng Hu Ling Township last year was too high."

Lu Zhenghong nodded and said, "I saw that too. The GDP of Meng Hu Ling Township reached more than 57 million yuan last year, an increase of more than double compared to the year before. Xinghui, your contribution is indispensable!"

Su Xinghui said, "Uncle Lu, I just did a little bit of the work I should have done."

Lu Zhenghong sighed and said, "If everyone in the province did their job as well as you do, our province would have taken off long ago."

Su Xinghui just smiled and didn't speak.

Lu Zhenghong said, "Secretary Gu was very happy when he came back from Meng Hu Ling last time. He was very satisfied with your work and said it completely exceeded his expectations."
