Chapter 743

Su Xinghui said decisively, "Auntie, that won't do. How about this, you move to the village committee first, and I will ask the village to repair the house for you. When your house is repaired, you can move back. I also have to ask the village to pay to help you treat your illness."

The old woman said, "Town Mayor Su, don't trouble yourself for my little matter."

Su Xinghui said, "Auntie, don't refuse. This is what the village should do."

Tears flowed from the old woman's cloudy eyes, and she nodded, "Town Mayor Su, thank you, you are really a good person!"

Although the old woman said that the country had already done enough for her and she didn't want to trouble the country anymore, who wouldn't want to live a better and more dignified life if they could? Su Xinghui could consider her so wholeheartedly, and she was really moved.

Su Xinghui said, "It's fine, Auntie. You are a 'five-guarantee' household, and the country has policies. These are all things the village should do. They didn't do it well before, that was their mistake. Now the town should correct it in time."
