1027. Chapter 1027: Worrying Heart 22

When I had finished packing and was about to go out, Ahao was already waiting for me at the door.

When Ahao walked toward me, everyone stared at us two, just as they had when I first walked with Shangguan Yun, staring at me and Shangguan Yun with the same expression.

Perhaps they thought I had already found a new love so quickly; besides, hasn't Shangguan Yun been absent from school for a day?

"Xuanxuan, come, let me help you carry that." Ahao was just as thoughtful as Shangguan Yun, helping me carry the things in my hands.

I also felt embarrassed not to let him carry it, so I generously handed it over to him, and they looked at me even more astonished.

Perhaps some of them also know Ahao, after all, Ahao is also a prominent figure.

"Let's go," I said with a smile.

So, Ahao and I walked side by side, talking and laughing.

Although I appeared to be talking and laughing, those laughs were probably fake; I couldn't very well put on a straight face when facing Ahao.

That's why they whispered among themselves even more, discussing my affair with Ahao.

I inadvertently overheard a woman say: "Isn't Xuanxuan Shangguan Yun's girlfriend? How come she's with this guy now? He seems to be a mixer too, doing quite well. The last time I was with my boyfriend, I saw him."

Although he tried hard to suppress his voice, I still heard it.

I believe Ahao surely heard it too, but we pretended we hadn't.

I thought this was just gossip from those meddling women, but I didn't expect I was wrong.

Just then, I received a text on my phone; I opened it and saw it was from Shangguan Yun, who wrote concisely: "Honey, I'm fine, wait for me to come back."

Just those few simple words.

Seeing those words, I felt as if I had seen hope, and I hurried to call Shangguan Yun, but his phone was off again.

I don't understand; I just received Shangguan Yun's message, how could he not have turned off his phone so quickly? He was in such a hurry, why didn't he tell me where he was?
