I glanced at the time—it was almost eleven; so late I had planned not to answer, but the phone kept ringing.

"Just answer it." Huiqing handed the phone to me and said.

"Long distance plus roaming, okay?" I muttered, but I still pressed the answer button.

"How come you're asleep this early? Why did you only answer now?" As soon as I picked up, Shangguan Yun started talking.

"Don't you know it's rude to disturb someone's sleep?" I said to him bluntly.

Shangguan Yun fell silent for a moment, then said: "I miss you, I can't help missing you, so I came downstairs to your building. I saw your room pitch black, and I stood there for a long, long time, but I still couldn't resist calling you, even though I knew you were asleep, I just couldn't help it." Shangguan Yun spoke to me with deep longing.

I never expected him to come to my building this late; there's no doubt about his feelings for me—he's come to my building several times just to see me.

"Actually I'm not home, so you can go back. I'm in Lishui right now." I explained to him, afraid he'd think I was lying to avoid him.

"How did you end up in Lishui? You said you'd stay home—why go to Lishui without even inviting me?" Shangguan Yun fired off a string of questions.

Poor me, my phone barely has any credit left—I have to keep it short.

"My phone's out of credit, I can't talk anymore. I'm about to hang up."

"No, but I miss you—what should I do?" Shangguan Yun said to me like a little child.

"Then come to Lishui to find me; if you can't, just go home and sleep obediently. All right, I'm really hanging up now—I'll probably lose service." After saying that, I didn't give Shangguan Yun a chance to speak and hung up.

After hanging up, I still felt worried, worried that Shangguan Yun wouldn't go home and would be wandering the streets in the middle of the night.

"Was that the Shangguan Yun I just mentioned calling?" After hanging up, Huiqing asked.
