1107. Chapter 1107 The Happiness of Meeting 48

"Um, I—I'm at my friend's place. Alright, don't ask where I am; help me call my mom, and I'll buy you a meal when I get back." I definitely can't tell him where I am now.

"Okay, no problem. Anything else?" Ahao readily agreed again.

"Um, nothing—hehe, you seem to still be asleep, so I won't disturb you; after you call me, go back to sleep." I said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Hehe, it's fine; I'll hang up now and call your mom right away—send me your mom's phone number on my phone." Ahao said with a smile.

"Mm, hung up." Having said that, I hung up the phone.

At that moment, Shangguan Yun and I were already standing at the entrance of the restaurant where A Du and the others were eating.

"Sigh, how did I end up with such a stupid wife?" Seeing I had hung up the phone, Shangguan Yun covered his forehead and said helplessly.

"Huh? What did I do wrong again? Why are you calling me an idiot again?" I looked at Shangguan Yun, bewildered, and asked.

"You say you're not stupid, but when you called Ahao and said that, he figured out you're with me now." Shangguan Yun said helplessly again.

"Tch, how could that be? I didn't mention a single word." I didn't believe it; I hadn't even mentioned where Shangguan Yun was, let alone anything about him—how could he possibly know?

"If you don't believe me, then when you go back, ask him: from what you just said—that you're with a friend and asked him to call your mom—he'd figure it out. If you were with someone else, would you need to do that? Besides, when he asked where you are, you said you're with your friend and told him not to say where you are, so he understood." Shangguan Yun continued his analysis for me.

"I still don't get it—why does saying that let him know I'm with you?" After hearing Shangguan Yun's words, I became even more confused and clueless.
