1471. Chapter 1471 Happiness Is Like This 2

"Honey, you're really good." Shangguan Yun said to me as soon as he got up.

"Shangguan Yun, tomorrow I don't want to go to that hospital anymore; I'm scared." I said, leaning lightly against the headboard.

"All right, then we won't go, okay? I'll listen to you—don't be scared. If anything happens, I'll bear it for you; even if the sky falls, I'll hold it up for you." Shangguan Yun agreed right away.

"Shangguan Yun, but what if we don't get it checked and the condition gets worse?" I said, scared again.

Sometimes, a person's heart is just full of contradictions, so contradictory, so contradictory...

"Let me inquire around for a while, see which hospital is better; once I've found out, I'll take you there—would that work?" Shangguan Yun said gently.

Maybe he'd already planned this all along—no wonder he agreed so readily.

I nodded, gazing at Shangguan Yun with deep affection, and said: "Shangguan Yun, you've been the best to me. In my heart, no one can compare to you, and no one could be better to me than you are—even my parents don't treat me as well as you do. Really. They actually don't understand me very much; they only know what I like to eat and what I like to do, just knowing some of my daily habits. They could never be like you, truly understanding me. Actually, sometimes even I don't understand myself very well."

"Honey, don't look at me like that, or I'll start overthinking again. I really don't want to go take another cold shower and freeze to death." Shangguan Yun said with a glum face.

I, feeling moved, buried my head deeply in Shangguan Yun's chest…

"Honey, I'm going out to buy you something to eat—you're not hungry, but I am. You only ate a little at noon… or else?" Shangguan Yun said, pulling me up.

"Shangguan Yun, I want to go out with you." I didn't want him to leave—not even for a moment.
