1564. Chapter 1564 Joint Examination 8

To her he is utterly cold, without any gentleness; as for me, at least he is full of heartache.

I looked at Shangguan Yun in disbelief, twitching the corner of my mouth, but I didn't speak for a long while.

Shangguan Yun's excited expression hadn't faded; only after a while did he softly sigh and say, "Ah… why do you always make me worry so?"

After saying that, he didn't care where we were or anything else, and pulled me into his arms.

The moment he pulled me into his embrace, my face instantly flushed and my heart began to race.

Moreover, when I glanced around, everyone was whispering and looking at the two of us…

I struggled slightly, afraid that any big move would provoke Shangguan Yun again.

"Shangguan Yun, there are lots of people watching. Could you let me go, please?" I whispered.

Shangguan Yun indeed let me go; I couldn't swallow this midnight snack now—how could I eat it?

So many people were staring.

Looking closely, fortunately there were no teachers around, just classmates.

I patted my chest, telling myself, "All right, all right."

I saw that the junior schoolgirl was still standing beside me, trembling all over, her face turned pale with fright.

I smiled and tried to soften my tone, saying, "It's fine; Shangguan Yun's temper is naturally bad."

As I said that, Shangguan Yun gave me a fierce glare.

"Be careful next time." After glaring at me to death, Shangguan Yun shouted at the junior schoolgirl.

Perhaps Shangguan Yun was venting all his anger on her; poor thing.

Why did we have to bump into each other at this moment?

"Let's go quickly." That junior schoolgirl just stood there foolishly, not moving at all.

If we don't leave now, we'll probably get shouted at by Shangguan Yun again.

Only after hearing my words did the junior schoolgirl leave, trembling with fear.

She must have been scared stiff.
