1623. Chapter 1623 Joint Examination 67

Shangguan Yun found a relatively clean place to sit down.

Sitting on the lawn, the lawn now is completely different from before.

Back when I first met Shangguan Yun, that night we were also sitting on the lawn; back then the lawn was lush green, and the grass grew very thick.

Now, poor thing, only a few blades remain; some spots are bare, and it's yellow and pitiful, looking miserable.

We have already found a spot with the most grass to sit down, but we still can't feel that lawn feeling.

There are many, many yellow leaves on the lawn...

While we were sitting, every now and then a few yellow leaves would drift down from above.

Just then, a leaf fell onto my head.

"Oh, Shangguan Yun, look, a leaf fell on my head, you—find some ghostly place, hum, annoying." I said dissatisfiedly.

"Haha, wife, look at you, when bad luck strikes it's just like this. Look, leaves don't fall on my head." Shangguan Yun burst out laughing.

Shangguan Yun, while laughing, helped me remove the yellow leaf from my hair.

Even when the leaves are lush, they will eventually turn yellow and wither.

People are the same; in one's life, even if you have your most glorious moments, someday you will grow old, and someday you will die.

Nothing in the world is eternal.

They say that only love in this world is the most eternal; I don't know if that's true.

I sat with Shangguan Yun back to back...

"Shangguan Yun, they say only love in this world is eternal. Do you believe that?" I looked up at the sky, blue blue sky, white white clouds.

"I didn't believe it before, but now I do." Shangguan Yun also raised his head and gazed at the sky, saying.

"Why?" I couldn't quite understand Shangguan Yun's words.
