180. Chapter 180: Can't Let Go 2

"Anyway, I don't care; you're my girlfriend. From now on, as long as I'm at school, I'll come here every morning to wait for you to have breakfast together, at noon I'll wait at the classroom door for you to have lunch together, and the same at night—I'll wait at your classroom door for dinner. After evening self-study ends, I'll still wait at the classroom door for you. If you're hungry at night, I'll keep you company for a late-night snack. Every night you have to keep me company on the sports field for a while, chatting." Shangguan Yun said domineeringly. Hearing his arrangement, I felt a warm warmth inside, seeming quite sweet, and suddenly I looked forward to such a life, though I still couldn't let go in my heart.

"Do we have to do it this way?"

"Well, anyway, everyone in the school knows we're a couple now—what do you still have to mind?" Shangguan Yun said, slightly furrowing his brows at me.

"Fine then. But at school you're not allowed to get handsy with me, or I'll chop off your hands and feet." I said fiercely.

Shangguan Yun burst out laughing loudly; although his laugh was so unrestrained and carefree, I could clearly see he was laughing happily, joyfully.

Walking to the cafeteria, it was quite crowded inside. When I tried to squeeze in to buy breakfast, Shangguan Yun grabbed me and said, "You stay here; what do you want to eat? I'll go buy it."

I glanced at Shangguan Yun; it's only natural for a boyfriend to buy breakfast for his girlfriend, so I bluntly told him I wanted soy milk and a vegetable bun.

Shangguan Yun smiled at me, hands casually in his pockets, and walked off. Amid the crowd, he soon returned with a large bag of breakfast in hand.

"This is too much—can you finish it all? I only need one vegetable bun." I said, taking the soy milk and bun.

"No, you must eat two; that's how you stay healthy." Shangguan Yun said, and I almost spat out the soy milk I'd just swallowed, as he treated me like a little Baobao.

Days passed slowly; although Shangguan Yun and I would occasionally have petty squabbles—sometimes he'd get angry at me for speaking a few extra words to the boy behind me, sometimes for my not eating—though we'd have minor tiffs, our days were still rather comfortable and happy.

The weather gradually turned cool; autumn had arrived silently. Walking along the campus roads, yellow leaves could be seen everywhere.
