"Shangguan Yun, I've called you so many times, why didn't you answer?" I asked.

"Sorry, I left my phone at home and forgot to bring it out; I was in a rush, I thought something had happened to you, and in the middle of the night you suddenly called to say you missed me—how could I not be anxious? So I got dressed, grabbed my car keys, and left." Shangguan Yun said, raising his eyebrows at me.

"Oh, I see now—you scared me to death, Shangguan Yun, you know? I thought something had happened to you." I said, giggling.

"A silly wife is just a silly wife." Shangguan Yun said, gently stroking my cheek.

Just then, there was a sound outside.

I quickly let go of Shangguan Yun, stepped out of his embrace, and said, "Don't let grandma know, okay."

Shangguan Yun smiled at me, then opened the door; while he was opening it, I had already run onto the bed.
