1836. Chapter 1836: About Celebrating the New Year 3

I won't go. If they truly regarded me as their son, they should come back to spend New Year, instead of not coming back because of their so-called business, letting me go up. Shangguan Yun's expression began to look unpleasant as soon as he brought up this issue.

But they're busy too. If you don't go, what will you do? It's New Year, everyone is supposed to be reunited with family. I looked at Shangguan Yun with a worried expression and said.

Shangguan Yun then put on a smile, smiled at me and said: "It's fine, I don't mind; as long as I have you, that's enough, as long as you're by my side, that's enough—I want you to spend New Year with me." Shangguan Yun put his arm around our shoulders, looking at me and said.

So you really aren't going to your parents' place? I looked at Shangguan Yun with concern and asked.

Shangguan Yun shook his head and said: "Yeah, I'm not going. Will you keep me company for New Year? Unless they come back, otherwise I'll be all alone."

You still have me, don't you? I said with a smile.

Yeah, it's just you. So today, you'll keep me company; we'll spend the last second of today together, then welcome the first second of tomorrow together, okay? Shangguan Yun looked at me with an eager expression and said.

I agreed without even thinking—does this question even need consideration?

But even so, I still wanted Shangguan Yun to spend New Year with his family.

It's been so long since they've seen each other; I think Shangguan Yun must really miss his parents.

But if I kept urging Shangguan Yun to go to Shanghai to spend New Year with his parents, he'd probably get angry, so I didn't say anything more.

At dinner that evening, I said to Lao Ma: "Lao Ma, Shangguan Yun will be alone this New Year."

I deliberately said that to Lao Ma, hoping she would speak up and let Shangguan Yun spend New Year at our house.
