2040. Chapter 2040: I've Figured It Out 4

Everything has changed, all of it has already changed, but it seems only Shangguan Yun's scent, his aura, plus his warm and strong embrace haven't changed; they remain the same.

"My heart remains the same!" After a long while, Shangguan Yun spoke these words with deep feeling.

It was precisely because of his words that he pulled me back to reality.

Everything just now seemed like a dream, truly a dream.

I hurriedly pushed him away with force, breaking free from his embrace.

"Uh... don't do this." I said somewhat embarrassedly, lowering my head, not daring to look at him.

"Xuanxuan..." Shangguan Yun looked at me with heartache, calling out.

Just then, the water boiled, and I said to Shangguan Yun: "Go back to Liu Xi's room first; when it's ready, I'll bring it over. If my mom sees you, it won't be good, so hurry back."

After hearing my words, Shangguan Yun fell silent again, said nothing, just stood quietly, and only left after a long while.

After Shangguan Yun left, my racing heart finally settled, and I let out a heavy sigh of relief.

I kept watching the noodles, and only after they were finally cooked did I bring a bowl to Shangguan Yun.

I knew Liu Xi had already woken up, yet I didn't cook noodles for him.

Liu Xi didn't say anything either; he just gave me a look filled with concern.

"Hehe, I don't know if you want to eat, but Shangguan Yun has been standing outside all night; I just wanted to make him a bowl of noodles to warm up." I said with an embarrassed smile.

I felt somewhat awkward, really somewhat awkward...

"It's fine, I'm not hungry, and I don't want to eat either." Seeing my embarrassed expression, Liu Xi quickly said.

Liu Xi understands me so well, truly understands me.

"If that's the case, I'll go back to my room to sleep." After saying that, I prepared to leave.
