2191. Chapter 2191: Lost Direction 1

After washing up, I met Ahao at our usual spot; by the time we arrived, the dishes on the table were already ready, and almost all of them were things I like to eat.

The corners of my mouth twitched up; just the thought that someone remembers what you like to eat made me suddenly realize how happy that is.

Unfortunately, the person who prepared this for me is not the one I want.

"Come on, have a seat." Ahao stood up, smiling at me as he said.

I smiled and sat down.

"Do you still like these dishes? Want to order more?" Ahao said, still smiling.

"Mm. They're all things I like to eat, thank you, Ahao." I looked at Ahao sincerely as I said.

"Why be so polite with me? Hurry up and eat." Ahao also gave a light smile as he said.

"Actually, it's really nice that someone still remembers what I like to eat; it feels great." I said, a little embarrassed.

Actually, I'm not good at saying these polite phrases; I always feel awkward, especially when I'm with fairly close friends, which makes me feel especially awkward.

But awkwardness aside, these things need to be said; if something ought to be said, then say it.

"All right, don't be so polite." Ahao is usually laid-back, but today he also became a bit awkward.

"Hehe... Ahao, you said you had something to tell me, right? Can we talk about it now?" Seeing that the atmosphere was a bit different, I asked, hoping to lighten the mood.

It seemed as if the air had been frozen by doubt.

"Let's eat first; we can talk while we eat." Ahao said with a smile.

"Mm." I nodded and started eating; after all, I was hungry.

After a moment, Ahao finally lifted his head and looked at me, saying: "Actually, I came to tell you to be careful from now on—Gu Han Yu has already started moving against you. So no matter what, no matter what Gu Han Yu wants from you, you must not go out alone, okay? If anything happens, just call me." Ahao looked at me seriously as he said.
