Chapter 2273: 2273. Chapter 2273 Meeting Shangguan Yun's Mother 1

2273. Chapter 2273 Meeting Shangguan Yun's Mother 1

Shangguan Yun is truly pitiful; just to see his mother once, he actually went and did such a thing, and on top of that he learned to fight badly. But the most tragic part is that in the end he got nothing.

Not to mention other things, he couldn't even get a scrap of maternal love.

Shangguan Yun's mother, after I spoke, had nothing to say and fell silent for a long time.

And when I was speaking just now, I was also somewhat excited; after the excitement, I too fell silent for a long time.

After a long while, Shangguan Yun's mother finally said to me, 'Is this what he told you?'

'If he hadn't told me, how would I know?' I said to her rudely.

'But she never told me, and she never even spoke to me.' Shangguan Yun's mother's words had lost the arrogance she had just shown.

I could feel that Shangguan Yun's mother still had Shangguan Yun in her heart.

Otherwise, it wouldn't be possible that upon hearing my words she would immediately fall silent, and after that silence even her tone of speech changed.

'That's just because you don't know how to care for him. Tell me, who else is like Shangguan Yun, for whom even the chance to see his mother once is so hard, and who even goes to fight just to see his parents? Do you think there's a second Shangguan Yun like this in the world?' I became somewhat excited again.

Just thinking back to what Shangguan Yun said to me at that time makes my heart unable to calm down.

Because I feel sorry for him.

Shangguan Yun is her son, her biological son, the child she carried for ten months and gave birth to.

I truly don't understand how she could bear to treat him this way.

'I, I am sorry to her; I have already tried my best to make up for him. I didn't hope he wouldn't hate me, but now I truly want to make amends, hoping I can fulfill even a little of a mother's duty.' Shangguan Yun's mother said with an apologetic tone.
