2399. Chapter 2399 Conspiracy 11

However, I do have some doubts; if Shangguan Yun's mother has some conspiratorial words towards me, then I really don't need to go out.

"How about it? Tomorrow just happens to be Friday, and just happens to have no evening classes; at that time, I'll come to the school to pick you up. That should work, right?" Shangguan Yun's mother seemed to say rather reluctantly.

Since Shangguan Yun's mother has put it that way, I then have no reason to say anything else.

Anyway, I'm only doing this for Shangguan Yun's sake, so I nodded and said: "That's fine, but you don't need to come pick me up tomorrow; I'll go myself." I said lightly.

Although I now need to stand on the same front as Shangguan's mother, there's also no need to have any relationship with his mother.

Besides, I'm not short of money for a ride, so why should I let him come pick me up.

"Alright, since you don't need me to pick you up, then tomorrow I'll give you a call." Shangguan Yun's mother also said lightly.

"Okay, if there's nothing else, I'll hang up. Moreover, if there's nothing, it's best not to call me; I don't want to have anything to do with you." Likewise, I said coldly.

After saying that, before Shangguan Yun's mother could react, I hung up the phone.

After hanging up, I finally let out a breath.

I felt that talking to Shangguan Yun's mother was extremely tiring and oppressive.

After all, she is Shangguan Yun's mother.

While I was just on the phone with Shangguan Yun's mother, Shangguan Yun kept calling me, but I didn't hang up.

In a moment, Shangguan Yun will definitely ask who it was.

And I certainly cannot tell Shangguan Yun that it was his mother who called me.

Otherwise, Shangguan Yun will definitely ask again what his mother said, and I seem unable to find a good excuse; moreover, Shangguan Yun will definitely worry again, and perhaps go to his mother to say something.
