2448. Chapter 2448 The True Purpose 35

The place they took me to also lacked any distinctive features; I wanted to know, but my whereabouts were extremely difficult.

It's really somewhat helpless.

(Note: This is a novel; I hope dear readers don't associate it with reality, and I hope you don't ask things like 'How could a place have no distinctive features?' because I won't explain. Thanks!)

After arriving at a large mall, Aunt Liu then got me out of the car.

Just looking at the people in the mall, you can tell they're all wealthy.

After Aunt Liu took me to several stores, I casually picked out a few pieces of clothing and went back; I really didn't have the mood to shop for clothes.

Moreover, I almost left without even trying on the clothes.

After buying the things, we went back; the time we were out was very short.

After returning, there wasn't much to do, so I went back to my room and called Shangguan Yun to report my whereabouts and what happened today.

After listening, Shangguan Yun was somewhat silent, had no major objections, and merely said he would definitely find a way to keep me safe.

We chatted for another afternoon, until Shangguan Yun's mother came back.

When Shangguan Yun's mother came back, she looked at the clothes I bought, and then she also asked me to try them on for her to see.

As a result, I didn't agree.

Shangguan Yun's mother seemed very angry.

So I also angrily shouted at her: 'What I wear is none of your business! Still, I want to thank you for your kindness, thank you for buying me clothes, knowing I have no change of clothes.'

If it weren't for needing some change of clothes, I wouldn't have gone out shopping with Aunt Liu.

As a result, Shangguan Yun's mother ignored me, directly made a call, said a few things, then hung up.

After hanging up, Shangguan Yun's mother also went out.

However, soon after, I heard the doorbell ring, and then it seemed a group of people were about to come in.
