2597. Chapter 2597 Their Secret 3

"I really don't know what kind of person this Zhu Liang is. Sigh..." After hanging up the phone, I shook my head and said.

"Who cares what kind of person he is? After getting the video, we just shouldn't contact him anymore, right?" Shangguan Yun said with a light smile.

What Shangguan Yun said was indeed easygoing, but...

"Shangguan Yun, back then, I made a deal with him—he promised to help me retrieve that video, and I promised to be his friend. Now, if he really does help me get the video back, I can't just go back on my word, can I?" I said, looking at Shangguan Yun somewhat timidly.

"Being friends is being friends—it's not like we're boyfriend and girlfriend, I'm not that petty, and friends don't have to do anything specific. When he calls you later, you can just say you're studying and have no time to go out, right?" Shangguan Yun said, still speaking lightly.

"Let's talk about it later; maybe if I act cold toward him then, he'll give up. But I heard from your mom that he really likes me." I said, smiling as I spoke the last sentence.

"If you like him, you like him—I believe you belong to me, forever and always." Shangguan Yun said, without a hint of jealousy.

"Wow, you're not even a little jealous?" I said, pouting.

"I'm just like you, getting jealous for no reason." Shangguan Yun said, looking at me proudly.

Really, there's nothing I can do about him.

Soon, I and Shangguan Yun arrived at the place we had agreed to meet Zhu Liang.

After seeing Zhu Liang, Shangguan Yun first froze for a moment, then quickly returned to a normal expression.

In that situation, I felt awkward asking Shangguan Yun, but I will definitely ask for clarification when I get home.

"Here you come, oh, you even brought your boyfriend." Zhu Liang saw us arrive, stood up, and said with a smile.

I smiled somewhat embarrassedly, said nothing, and then sat down.
