Shangguan Yun furrowed his brows, then turned away and said, "Since my wife said to let you go, this time I won't hold it against you; apologize to her." Shangguan Yun's tone left no room for doubt.

That person hurriedly scurried up to me and said, "Sorry, it was my fault just now; I have eyes but don't recognize Mount Tai." One could barely hear that the person's voice was trembling.

"Forget it." I said lightly. Shangguan Yun saw that he had also apologized, and since I wasn't hurt either, he walked back, supported me, let me lean against his chest, and said, "Let's go back."

"I'm so sleepy." I said softly while leaning in his arms, feeling my eyelids growing heavier and heavier.

"I'll carry you. Come up." Shangguan Yun said, squatting in front of me. Looking at his broad shoulders, I hesitated not at all and lay on his sturdy back. Slowly I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I don't know when we arrived home, nor how long Shangguan Yun carried me; when I woke up, I was already on Shangguan Yun's bed, and it was Shangguan Yun who woke me.

Opening my eyes, I felt my head much clearer, but my mouth was very dry and thirsty.

"We're already home, I'm really thirsty." I lay on the bed and looked at Shangguan Yun, saying. Shangguan Yun gave me a gentle smile and said, "Yeah, we're home. Want to take a bath before sleeping? You don't know how strong the alcohol and smoke smell on you is."

I nodded and said, "I'm really thirsty. My head still feels a bit heavy."

"Wait a moment, I'll go get you a cup of water." After saying that, he kissed my lips and left. Soon he brought in a cup of water, helped me up so I could lean against his chest, I took the water and gulped it all down in one go; when I finished the last sip, I ended up choking.

Shangguan Yun saw I had finished drinking, took the cup from my hand and said, "Why drink it so fast? Do you want more?"

"Hehe... no thanks. I'll go take a bath first; my body smells of sweat." I said with a laugh.

"Mm, go ahead and go in; I already took a bath while you were asleep. You must be tired; after bathing, go to sleep early. I can see you can barely keep your eyes open." Shangguan Yun said, smiling and gently stroking my cheek.
