You, you speak nonsense when talking to me, it's okay because I understand you, but you also speak nonsense to him, you must have been misunderstood." Shangguan Yun said, feeling a bit heartbroken as he reproached me.

I didn't do it on purpose. Besides, I'm angry too. I haven't even lost my temper." I said, dissatisfied.

If Liu Xi hadn't provoked me first, would I have acted like this? Honestly.

Alright, Liu Xi's intentions are good too, and he's doing it for our benefit. Yet you keep talking about him like this, saying he helped me only because he took my favor. Tell me, if you were him, could you feel at ease in your heart?" Shangguan Yun said, still looking at me with heartache.

After Shangguan Yun said that, I felt his words also made sense.

Maybe I really did say the wrong thing.

Besides, I know Liu Xi isn't that kind of person, and I didn't really mean it that way.

But the fact is, I already blurted it out because I speak too quickly—what can I do?

Sigh... I know he didn't mean it that way, I also know he's trying to help us with good intentions, but I've already said those words—what can we do?" I said, letting out a sigh.

Alright, forget it—what's said is said, you can't take back spoken words. Let this be a lesson; next time just be more careful when you speak." Shangguan Yun said, smiling as he comforted me.

I nodded and said: "Yeah, that's all we can do. Forget it, sigh, I'll go talk to him anyway, just to avoid any misunderstanding and make him feel better."

After I said that, I went out.

But when I went out and arrived at Liu Xi's room, I didn't see Liu Xi.

So I asked Lao Ma: "Mom, where is Liu Xi?"

Liu Xi went out; he seemed to have left in anger just a moment ago. What happened between you two?" Lao Ma asked, looking at me.
