2797. Chapter 2797: Shangguan Yun's Mom Finally Figured It Out 5

Hehe… Is that so? Many people say I'm special, but you're just one of them, yet you really are special. Although you look no different from other girls, utterly ordinary, but if you spend enough time with me, you'll discover I'm quite special. Shangguan Yun's mother chuckled again and said.

Actually, some things are truly unknown, just like I never would have thought that today I'd be sitting here talking calmly with Shangguan Yun's mother.

This is something I never would have imagined before.

I used to think that even if Shangguan Yun and his mother improved their relationship, my relationship with her mother would remain unchanged, staying just as it was.

Hehe… Is that so? Then tell me, in what way am I special?" I felt a bit embarrassed by what Shangguan Yun's mother said.

I also have some understanding of your situation; people say you're just an ordinary girl, but you're quite kind, though girls like you aren't rare—there are many of them, and they all say your heart is soft, so you quickly forget or don't take to heart the harm others cause you." Shangguan Yun's mother paused at this point, picked up the coffee in front of her, and took a small sip.

After finishing the coffee, she set it down again and continued looking at me, saying: "Perhaps you treat everyone this way, but I just can't understand why you don't treat me the same. Earlier, your tone and attitude toward me were still so bad—how can I say…? I'm also A Yun's mother, your future mother-in-law; don't you want to leave a good impression in front of me?"

After hearing Shangguan Yun's mother's words, I realized that perhaps my attitude toward her just now had been somewhat excessive.

So, I looked at Shangguan Yun's mother with an apologetic expression and said: "Sorry… I… I was just too excited."
