Thinking about it, I was really bored; I put down my phone, and I wasn't sleepy at all, just sitting dumbly on the bed, I checked the time—Shangguan Yun should have been out for a while, so why hasn't he come back yet?

Seeing the drink beside me, I picked it up and took a sip when I heard a noise outside—probably Shangguan Yun coming back.

I didn't go out, just kept sitting, and sure enough, Shangguan Yun soon came into the room, saw me, smiled, walked over, and said, "Awake? Are you hungry? I bought your favorite meat rice—come eat."

"I don't want to eat; just now a beautiful woman called you saying she had something and asked you to call her back," I said coldly, my voice dripping with jealousy.

"Who?" I said, then picked up my phone and continued, "It's Tingting. Did she say what she wanted?" Shangguan Yun kept asking, completely unfazed.

Especially hearing him say those two words "Tingting" made me feel uneasy. "She didn't tell me, just have you call her," I said sourly.

Shangguan Yun squeezed onto the bed, sat beside me, put his arm around my shoulder, and said, "What's wrong? Not happy? I have nothing with her. Why are you jealous of her? You're not usually this petty. It's like you're cold toward her."

I ignored him, stewing in my jealousy, and he said, "All right, you believe I won't doubt you—I'll call her first to see what she wants, to prove I'm innocent." He spoke while dialing.

"You really are calling," I exclaimed, looking at him, and the call had already connected. I heard Tingting's voice on the phone: "Taking such a long shower, you finally came out?"

Shangguan Yun heard it, turned his head and glanced at me; I quickly looked away—this damned woman really is something.

"What's up?" Shangguan Yun's voice was a bit cold. I liked hearing him talk to Tingting like that—humph, it'll piss her off sooner or later.

"If there's nothing, I'll hang up. I'm taking my wife out to eat." He said that and hung up.

Some things I don't get: if Shangguan Yun dislikes Tingting so much, why does he still bother answering when she calls?
