2897. Chapter 2897 Those Who Must Leave Will Always Leave 14

"It's fine, I'm fine, Xuanxuan, Auntie doesn't ask for anything else—just that when Auntie isn't around, you can take more care of A Yun, love him a bit more for Auntie. His temper isn't good, so you should accommodate him a little more. Okay?" Shangguan Yun's mother said, looking at me with a bitter smile.

I nodded and said, "Auntie, don't worry, I will definitely do it—I will definitely make Shangguan Yun happy." I said confidently.

Although Shangguan Yun had left, we hadn't left yet and were still chatting.

Shangguan Yun's mother suddenly had to leave, and I was also very reluctant to see her go.

But, those who are meant to leave will always leave…

It wasn't until very late that Shangguan Yun's mother saw me home.

When I got home, it was already twelve o'clock, and my parents had already fallen asleep.

I thought Shangguan Yun should have come back too, but when I returned to my room, I discovered that Shangguan Yun still hadn't returned.

Even after Shangguan Yun arrived, he still hasn't come back—where did he go?

He couldn't be thinking of giving up…

That shouldn't be the case; I'm just overthinking.

So I hurriedly took out my phone and called Shangguan Yun.

Soon Shangguan Yun answered the phone, his voice a little hoarse, saying, "Hello……"

"Shangguan Yun, where are you? Why haven't you come home yet?" I asked, a little worried.

"I'm at the bar, have you come home?" Shangguan Yun asked.

"I just got home, and seeing you hadn't come back, I called you." I said.

"Okay, then I'll head back now. If you're tired, go to sleep first, but I'll be home soon—I'm fine right now." Shangguan Yun said after hearing my words.

"Okay, I'll wait for you." After saying that, he hung up the phone.

After hanging up, I went into the bathroom to take a shower.

I hadn't even finished my shower when Shangguan Yun came back.
