2969. Chapter 2969 Side Story: Attending Shangguan Yun's Family Gathering 18

As a result, when I reached into my pocket, I just pressed the answer button……

As soon as I took out my phone, sure enough, that person snatched my phone away……

"Give my phone back!" I shouted loudly while he still hadn't pressed the hang‑up button.

I hoped Shangguan Yun could hear my voice and come to my rescue.

Otherwise, I was surely done for.

When I was at my own place, even the thugs and hooligans all knew I was Shangguan Yun's girlfriend, so normally I wouldn't be in danger.

But here, as a newcomer, who would know me?

I wanted to cry but had no tears……

"Heh heh… I'm not giving your phone back. Who's on the line? Wow… MYLOVE, that's your boyfriend. Let me say a few words to him." The big‑boss‑type guy looked at my phone, smirking evilly as he spoke.

Upon hearing his words, I secretly laughed inside……

I was actually hoping for that.

"Do you realize how rude you're being?" I said hypocritically.

"Hey… lend me your girlfriend for the night, I'll return her tomorrow." The guy said arrogantly into the phone.

"Hahaha… what's there to dare? See you tomorrow." After saying that again, the big guy hung up the phone and then turned off my phone.

I wondered whether Shangguan Yun would know I was here and come to save me.

Besides, I hadn't gone far, and this place is so small, he should be able to find me.

"Let's go." The big guy returned my phone, then grabbed and pulled me forward.

There were clearly many people around, yet they all acted as if they hadn't seen anything.

How could this be?

Could it be that they are the local bullies? That's why they dare not say anything?

I guess that's right.

"Let go of me, let go of me!" I shouted loudly.

I wanted them to know I was being forced, but they merely gave me a sympathetic glance and then walked away.
