When we reached the bathroom, Shangguan Yun asked again, "Does your hand hurt?"

I shook my head and said, "It doesn't hurt much, not compared to my heartache." Thinking of this, my gaze dimmed again and my heart felt heavy.

"Alright, let's not think about it. Let's not think about him, okay? Let's wash our faces first, then sleep. We can deal with anything tomorrow." After saying that, Shangguan Yun wrung out a towel and wiped my face.

"Wait, I'll get the facial cleanser." He said that and left, then returned with the cleanser from his bag. Shangguan Yun wrung the towel dry again, wiped my face clean, and asked, "Do you want to wash your feet?"

Shangguan Yun squatted down and gently rubbed my feet with his hands. At that moment I thought, I really wish he would wash my feet for the rest of my life—what a happy thing that would be.

"All right, lift your feet." After Shangguan Yun said that, I quickly lifted my feet. He dried my feet with a dry towel, then did the same for the other foot.

I leaned on Shangguan Yun's shoulder, almost falling over, and I patted my chest, startled, saying, "You scared me."

"Don't be afraid, I won't let you fall. All right, let's go." After saying that, Shangguan Yun tossed the towel aside and took my hand as we walked away.
