7. Chapter 7 Love Letter

"Boring, if you don't give it to me, I don't want it." I thought, I wouldn't waste money on this. Then I ignored her.

"No way, you won't even look at Shangguan Yun's love letter?" Lili said, looking at me somewhat disappointed.

"Or you could help me read it." I said, waving my hand generously.

"Forget it, here you go, stingy." Lili said, tapping my forehead with her finger. Then she threw the letter at me, wiggled her butt, and walked away. I grabbed the letter and tossed it into the drawer, then continued to slump listlessly on the desk.

Even after class ended, I still hadn't looked at the letter. When I was packing up to leave, Lili jumped in front of me, stretched out her hand, and said, "Where's the letter?"

"What letter?" I asked, bewildered.

"Could it be that you didn't reply to Shangguan Yun's letter?" Now it's Lili's turn to be puzzled and ask me.

"Um... I haven't even looked at it yet." I said, sticking out my tongue.

"He's been waiting outside." Lili said, pointing outside. I looked out, and sure enough, Shangguan Yun was standing by the window, chatting with someone.

"No way, why didn't you tell me earlier?" I complained to Lili.

"Hehe... if you don't reply to him, I think he'll definitely keep pestering you." Lili said, giving me an ambiguous look.

"Damn woman, where are you pulling my arm?" I glared at Lili and said.

"Hehe... don't say that, it'll hurt my tender heart."

"Sigh... I've made a bad friend." I sighed, then immediately took out a pen, tore off a piece of paper, and wrote: "Sorry, I have a boyfriend." After writing it, I handed it to Lili and said, "Give this to him."

"Just these words?" Lili said, looking at me in surprise.

"Does the country have a regulation on how many words a letter must have?" I said disdainfully.

"I can't argue with you anymore. Wait for me in Qinshi to eat together." As I walked away, Lili's voice followed behind me.

"Got it." I shouted without turning back, and as I walked out the door, Shangguan Yun happened to look my way.

I embarrassedly smiled at Shangguan Yun and walked away quickly. One could say I ran away like fleeing.

I felt that seeing Shangguan Yun was a bit awkward, a bit embarrassing.

After returning to Qinshi, not long after, my phone rang—an unknown number.
