85. Chapter 85 Shangguan Yun Comes to Pick Me Up 1
"What are you doing?" I asked him, looking at him bewildered.
"Sis, actually Shangguan Yun is really good to you; that night I chatted with him a lot, and he really is nice." Liu Xi brought up Shangguan Yun again.
I pursed my lips and didn't speak; just then a taxi stopped ahead, Shangguan Yun got out of the car, walked to my side and said, "Xuanxuan, how are you feeling?"
"Thanks for the concern, I'm much better." I said to Shangguan Yun, then pulled Liu Xi and said, "Liu Xi, let's go."
I didn't expect Liu Xi to not follow me; he stood there like a wooden post, while Shangguan Yun grabbed my hand and wouldn't let me go.
People coming and going looked over at us, making me feel embarrassed.
"Sis, I still have something to do; you go back to school with A Yun, Yun, you better take good care of my sister." Liu Xi said, handed the bag to Shangguan Yun, and ran off.
"What good care do I need? I'm not a child; do I need him to look after me?"
"Get in." Shangguan Yun pulled me toward the car.
Seeing so many people around and being at my own doorstep, if acquaintances saw us there would be gossip, so I obediently got in the car with Shangguan Yun and we headed to school.
Sitting together with Shangguan Yun, I couldn't help but glance at his hand; it wasn't bandaged, although it had stopped bleeding, it was still reddish, probably hurting.
In the car, I didn't speak to him, and he didn't speak to me either; we just remained silent all the way to school.
At the school gate, Shangguan Yun first got out of the car holding the bag with my clothes, paid the fare, and then I got out as well.
Suddenly I remembered that the clothes Shangguan Yun sold me that day had been washed by Lao Ma and were still hanging out to dry at home.
"Um, I'll return the clothes to you next week; my mother washed them and they're still drying at home, so I didn't bring them." In fact, I had basically kept those clothes for myself, rather than forgetting them.
