Chapter 868

Xu Jin, who was seeing a star island swallow a star realm fragment for the first time, was slightly shocked.

It felt like a living thing.

In less than half an hour, the aura of the star realm fragment that had just been captured merged with Changxing Star Island, and the star domain field of Changxing Star Island spread out in an instant.

Merging also meant that this star realm fragment had been included within the Heaven and Earth authority of Changxing Star Island.

Guardian Seeing Seeing Guan Laohei, who held the Heaven and Earth authority of Changxing Star Island, constantly drove the Heaven and Earth authority, and pieces of Star Ruins Origin Sand jumped out from the star realm fragment that had just merged, along with all kinds of other heavenly materials and earthly treasures.

It also drew out two pieces of innate treasure materials, more than ten pieces of innate spiritual materials, as well as fragmented star jade marrow, star jade crystal, and all kinds of spiritual medicines from over a thousand years.

There were Star Lords to pick and count them; high in the sky, more than ten military law officers dressed in black were watching the entire star realm fragment with divine sense; anyone who dared to hide anything at this time would be killed without mercy!

When a Star Surge erupts, all kinds of benefits belong to whoever finds them.

But the harvest after the star realm fragment is brought back and merged belongs to the public, and there is a complete processing flow afterward.

As Xu Jin thoroughly participated in this process, he also thoroughly understood it.

First is military merit.

Besides the military merit of killing enemies, bringing back star realm fragments has different collective military merits.

Like the star realm fragment brought back today, which is quite large, it can barely be considered a small star realm.

According to the rules of the Profound War Zone, bringing back a small star realm earns one million collective military merits.

This collective military merit will be allocated to the participating personnel after the Guardian reports the merit.

One million military merits must first have fifty thousand military merits removed.

This half-percent military merit that is removed is to be left for the three operation teams of over forty people who guard the star island.

It is considered a kind of collective honorary harvest.

Otherwise, no one being willing to guard the island would also be a big problem, and in the long run, resentment would inevitably arise.

However, the harvest averaged out is also the lowest, which is just a comfort; after the True Person Guardian takes more, everyone else gets one thousand military merits.

The remaining nine hundred and fifty thousand military merits are divided into first merit, second merit, third merit, fourth merit, etc., depending on what the Guardian reports.

Guardian Seeing Seeing Guan Laohei's first merit reported this time was naturally Xu Jin, the second merit was himself and the Seventh Tribulation True Person Cao Bin, the third merit was the various True Persons and other members of the vanguard scout team, which is also the convention.

The vanguard scout team takes the most risks, and obtaining the third merit is the basic operation, and all remaining people get the fourth merit.

The first merit for a small star realm is fixed at eighty thousand merit points, the second merit is thirty thousand merit points per person, the third merit is ten thousand merit points per person, and the remaining merit points are divided equally among the fourth merit recipients.

In addition, the military merit of those who died in battle is doubled.

The military merit of those who died in battle will be exchanged by the Guardian for cultivation resources or wealth and sent back to their families, or to the person they designated.

Calculated this way, the military merit harvest from capturing a small star realm once is not much.

Like those elite Star Lords who took the fourth merit, each averaged only five thousand-plus military merits.

In the process of fighting the alien race before, four alien Royal Star Lords were beheaded, and some people shared the military merits, which was also not bad.

The person who obtained the most military merits in this battle was naturally Xu Jin.

Besides the eighty thousand for the first merit, he beheaded a Second Tribulation True Person of the Silver-Winged Race, directly obtaining sixty-five thousand military merits (an ordinary Second Tribulation True Person is fifty-five thousand military merits, and space types get an extra ten thousand battle merits).

Xu Jin also presented the Dao embryos and corpses of the two Silver-Winged Race Royal Star Lords he captured, obtaining another twelve thousand battle merits (beheading one Royal Tianyang Xingjun is five thousand battle merits, and space types get an extra one thousand battle merits).

In the end, Xu Jin obtained one hundred and fifty-seven thousand battle merits in one battle.

This directly left the group of participating True Persons dumbfounded.

Many True Persons among them hadn't accumulated so many military merits in several decades, yet Xu Jin, this newcomer, obtained them in his first battle; it was simply...

Actually, it was also very normal; many True Persons also had records of beheading alien True Persons, but many times they were beheaded by two or three or even multiple people working together.

If multiple people share it, it's relatively small.

"You kid is powerful; if you come a few more times like this, you have hope of becoming a titled True Person in the future!" Seeing Seeing Guan Laohei patted Xu Jin on the shoulder, "But you don't need to be in a hurry to use military merits to request a title; see what cultivation resources you need and use military merits to exchange for them.

Improving strength here is the first priority.

Wait until you have accumulated enough, then request a title with military merits, and then obtain a domain fief to retire; it won't be too late." While speaking, Seeing Seeing Guan Laohei handed Xu Jin a jade slip.

When he sank his divine sense in and finished reading it carefully, Xu Jin suddenly understood how the military merit balance worked.

Why the condition for successful selection as an Emperor Palace Saint Son before was military merit balance, not purely accumulated military merit!

Because here, military merit is almost used as a currency.

For example, the hundred-plus pieces of Star Ruins Origin Sand obtained from the star realm fragment that merged into the star island, as well as innate treasure materials, innate spiritual materials, and all kinds of treasure materials, heavenly materials and earthly treasures, spiritual medicines, star jade marrow, star jade crystal, etc., can all be exchanged with military merits.

And there is also a rule: for this batch of captured materials, when star island personnel exchange them with military merits, it is seventy percent off.

For example, Star Ruins Origin Sand, exchanged for five thousand military merits per piece, only requires thirty-five hundred points for this exchange.

Innate treasure materials are expensive, and in an instant, they became something Xu Jin couldn't afford to exchange, twenty-five thousand military merits, and seventy percent off is still seventeen thousand-plus.

Innate spiritual materials are relatively cheaper, forty thousand military merits per piece, and seventy percent off is still twenty-eight thousand.

At the same time, some precious materials obtained from field operations can be turned in for eighty percent of the military merit value, but there is a quantity limit.

At the same time, the number of military merits is recorded in the Profound Order, and personal trading is prohibited.

If rare treasures appear and multiple people fight for them, the one who offers the highest military merit gets them.

Xu Jin felt that the military merit system of the entire Profound War Zone had already formed a huge value circulation system.

Currently, obtaining military merits is not too difficult.

Because just normally guarding the star island, different cultivation bases have different military merits.

But accumulating a military merit balance is relatively difficult.

For example, a Small Tianyang Xingjun, for every month of guarding, can obtain one thousand military merits; a Great Tianyang Xingjun is one thousand five hundred; a Town Tianyang Xingjun is two thousand; and a Royal Tianyang Xingjun is three thousand.

At the True Person level, the harvest from normal guarding is relatively high; a First Tribulation True Person guarding for one month is five thousand military merits, and one year is sixty thousand military merits.

But as long as they can hold back from exchanging for any cultivation resources, they can hold back for about ten years and hold back a titled True Person!

But can they hold back?

Xu Jin doesn't discuss it for now; others, seeing innate treasure materials and innate spiritual materials, as long as they can scrape them together, will think of ways to exchange for one.

Moreover, if they hold back from improving their strength, can they survive?

Everything is unknown.

After Xu Jin obtained the Third-Rank Profound Star General last time, he had already gone all-in and exchanged his military merits.

So at this moment, he only had one hundred and fifty-seven thousand military merits in his hand.

Actually, the military merits in Xu Jin's hand could be more.

For example, as long as Xu Jin showed the True Person blood crystal of that Fourth Tribulation True Person of the Silver-Winged Race, he could immediately obtain another eighty-five thousand military merit points.

But Xu Jin didn't show it.

As far as the current situation is concerned, Xu Jin still wants to hide his strength upper limit slightly.
