Although the characters Lao Si scratched out with its claws weren't as standard as the ones Broken-Waist Wolf wrote, they could still be clearly made out.

Xia Qing pulled out a paper map, spread it on the ground, and pointed to the eastern Evolution Forest of Hui-1 Safe Zone as she asked, "Lao Si, this wolf is here, a member of the Hui-1 eastern wolf pack, right?"

Lao Si slowly nodded.

Good, this wolf isn't a member of the Hui-3 southern, western, or northern wolf packs. Yang Jin let out a slight breath of relief, and with practiced ease pried open a thumbnail-sized locator he had just dug out with a screwdriver, popped out the battery, and put it in a tin foil bag.

Xia Qing didn't relax like Yang Jin did, because Lao Si looked very angry. She continued asking, "Does Lao Si want to take this wolf away?"

Hearing Xia Qing ask that, Broken-Waist Wolf, who had been studying the unconscious wolf's head wound, immediately raised its head. Broken-Waist Wolf twitched its ears and turned to look at the big stone blocking the cave entrance. Xia Qing listened carefully for a while and heard the "creak" of footsteps on Harmful Snow. Lao Si and Yang Jin had brought the people back.

While Di Ming was quickly adjusting his state, he heard Xia Qing on the inner side of the cave speak again: "All four are being brought? Good. Brother Huo, come over here and carry these two Tibetan Mastiffs."

"Got it!" Watching Huo Zhun answered loudly and darted over in a flash.

Di Ming and Yang Jin exchanged glances, found their emotions matched, and smiled at each other.

Xia Qing first put away the Yishi stones placed nearby before shouldering the wolf and Tibetan Mastiff and heading out. To shield against the extremely high Harmful Element content in the atmosphere during the Harmful Snow period, this squad hiding in the tiger clan's territory had placed twelve Yishi stone granules in the cave. Eleven of them had been put away by Xia Qing; the one not put away was used to protect these four domesticated beasts.
