Chapter 35: Azure Dragon Squad Captain Yang Jin

Yang Jin is the captain of the Azure Dragon Squad, and Xie Yu is the vice-captain. Xia Qing came to find Luo Pei, never intending to hide it from those two. "Not counting them. Give me a heads-up before you come, and I'll have someone lure them away, and have Wei Chengdong wait for you at the spot where he picked you up earlier."

After Xia Qing agreed, Luo Pei solemnly thanked her. "Xia Qing, from now on your matters are my matters. As long as it doesn't break the law, just say the word."

"Captain Luo, you're too kind. I'm trading with you to hold onto my own territory." The spring water can be hidden for a while, but not forever. After the squad medic left, Luo Pei finally let his excitement show. His emaciated hands slowly rose to cover his dark-red face, and the tall man standing beside Luo Pei also reddened around the eyes.

"Captain Luo." Wei Chengdong had seen Xia Qing out of the territory and come back, and in a lowered voice requested, "Should we call the boss and cancel the trade with the Blaze Squad? If we wait any longer, it'll be too late."

Luo Pei shook his head. "Xia Qing's spring water absolutely cannot be leaked. We can't cancel the trade with the Blaze Squad."

Wei Chengdong scratched his head. "But the Blaze Squad will definitely take the chance to fleece us hard."

Luo Pei smiled slowly. "Is Yang Jin the kind of man who gets taken advantage of?"

"Of course not." Wei Chengdong gave a sheepish grin. "Even if the boss goes along with Fire Phoenix, the one who loses out won't be him…"

Before Wei Chengdong could finish, the auditory Evolver squad member on guard duty outside ran in and knocked on the door. "Captain Luo, a helicopter's coming!"

What? Wei Chengdong jumped up and rushed out. "Captain Luo, I'll go take a look."

As the helicopter approached, the roar of its rotor blades cutting through the air made the lords of several nearby territories cautiously hide under various hard cover, tensely gazing upward.

Xia Qing soothed Sheep Boss, who was startled and about to charge out and ram the aircraft, while watching through her night-vision goggles as the small helicopter with its flashing red light landed inside Territory One.

Tang Huai, who had also witnessed this scene, immediately dialed the Sufeng Squad vice-captain Xu Pin.

Yang Jin didn't let go. "You can't carry them. How's Captain Luo?"

"He's holding on." Wei Chengdong didn't show off, and jogged ahead to lead the way.

Yang Jin strode in with his long legs, set down the water tanks, took off his night-vision goggles, and saw Luo Pei sitting in the recliner. His bloodshot eyes immediately darkened. "Captain Luo hasn't done a medicinal bath?"

His brothers were risking their lives to find water for him; as long as Luo Pei could still hold on, he wouldn't waste water on a medicinal bath. He answered with a grin, "Of course I did. You hitched a ride on a military plane back?"

Seeing the squad medic lower his head, unable to meet his eyes, Yang Jin knew Luo Pei hadn't told the truth. He gestured for the medic and Wei Chengdong to carry the water tanks away and prepare the medicinal bath immediately, then closed the door before answering Luo Pei's question. "The Hui-One Base military was transporting supplies this way, so I hitched a ride to bring back two tanks of water first."

Luo Pei asked Yang Jin with a smile, "What does Blaze want? You, or Xie Yu?"

Xie Yu is the vice-captain of the Azure Dragon Squad, a Level Three cerebral Evolver. If Yang Jin and Luo Pei are the Azure Dragon Squad's main combat power, then Xie Yu is the Azure Dragon Squad's brain.

Yang Jin, who had been running nonstop for two days and nights fetching water, lit an Evolution cigarette to stay alert. "Traded for weapons."
