Chapter 468: First Assault Echelon

After taking the Yi-element stimulant, Xia Qing carried four wolves on her back and, in just fifteen minutes, followed a familiar route into Zone Three of Mountain 49—then heard Beard Feng's voice through her earpiece communicator.

"Sange Sect sent someone to deliver the antidote to Territory Three. Just head back to the territory through the north gate; it's hanging on the big toon tree."

She hadn't even returned yet, and her idol already had the antidote in hand? How did he get it?

"Copy that." Xia Qing was overjoyed. She led the giant wolves through Zone Three into Territory Three, took the light little bag down from the big toon tree, and still couldn't believe it was real.

Beard Feng continued, "There are four syringes in the bag. Sange says inject them straight into the muscle. Sange also said…"

"It's four. That weasel on her head counts as a wolf too." Er Yong whispered, "Guan Tong, do you think Sis Qing's strength evolution level has gone up again?"

Guan Tong nodded and told Beard Feng, "Boss, Sis Qing's condition doesn't seem right."

She couldn't have improved this much in such a short time—she must have taken some kind of potion to push through.

Chen Cheng muttered softly, "The smell is off too. Don't you guys smell something really foul?"

Beard Feng gave the order, "Jingkuan and Peng Jian, in a bit the three of us will follow Xia Qing to the East Quarantine Belt. Everyone else, hold the territory. Remember—don't get near the village. That giant wolf is not to be trifled with."

When Xia Qing reached the village entrance, Ram Boss had already charged out. He sniffed with his nose and actually took two steps back. "Baa!"

"All personnel of the First Echelon at the second exit, withdraw. Half go to the third exit, half to the fourth exit. The First Echelon at the second exit will be Xia Qing's responsibility."

After the First Echelon snipers withdrew, Xia Qing took the sniper position, aimed at the surging tide of animals pouring out of the exit, and focused on taking down the big ones.

After killing several giant lizards and five evolved animals of unknown type, the figures of a wild boar group appeared in her night-vision goggles. Their massive tusks, bloodshot eyes, and gleaming hides all proclaimed the ferocity of this boar herd.

Wild boars in the evolved forest would repeatedly rub against pine trunks, smearing layer upon layer of thick pine resin and mud on their bodies, making their hides tougher than armor. Therefore, to kill a boar with a single shot, one had to aim for its eyes or open mouth.

Xia Qing stayed calm and composed, aiming at the boars' eyes as she fired.

After taking out eight boars with the sniper rifle, the remaining three were only five meters from Xia Qing. The Second Echelon members cried out in alarm.

Xia Qing simply set down the sniper rifle, charged forward, grabbed the lead boar, and slammed it hard into the other two. She had already practiced this move on Ram Boss until it was perfect—she could hit whatever she aimed at.
