Chapter 94: Professor Quirrell's Doom
A cold, shrill laughter echoed through the empty room...
The laughter was filled with the sheer joy of revenge fulfilled.
Voldemort barely managed to stop his laughter; he made Quirrell turn around so that he could face Harry and Allen, yet he still kept his distance from them.
"I never expected the famous Savior, Harry Potter, to bleed out in this dilapidated, cold, and obscure room, only to die like a dog!" Voldemort said fiercely, his red eyes flashing with an unusual light.
Then he looked at Allen and asked mockingly, "What were you just saying? Speak louder!"
Allen raised his head and shouted at Voldemort, "I surrender!"
"Not loud enough! Who are you surrendering to?" Voldemort suddenly became interested.
Allen's eyes were filled with a desire to live; he looked at Voldemort and shouted with an even louder voice, "I surrender to the great Dark Lord!"
Harry's hand suddenly gripped Allen's arm tightly, refusing to let go, squeezing until Allen's arm hurt, yet Allen remained unmoved, not even glancing at Harry...
Voldemort closed his eyes in enjoyment: "Yes, just that feeling! The taste of revenge is so sweet! The feeling of making others submit is so intoxicating..."
"Then, why should I accept your surrender? Remember, you just injured my body!" Voldemort looked at Allen cruelly.
"You will have my eternal loyalty! I will do my utmost to serve you! I will help you control and rule the entire Wizarding World! I will become the sharpest blade in your hand!" Allen looked at Voldemort firmly.
Voldemort looked at Allen with amusement: "Your surrender cannot save your friend; Harry Potter must die!"
"I only want to live! Whether Potter lives or dies means nothing to me!" Allen said quickly, feeling Harry's hand gripping his arm suddenly grow weak.
Voldemort looked at Allen with slight surprise and said, "You have surprised me again today; it seems you are not trapped by those boring emotions. I am admiring you more and more!"
"Thank you, my lord!" Allen said calmly.
"Very well! I accept your surrender! Welcome to the ranks of the Death Eaters!" Voldemort said with a cold sneer.
"I am honored!" Allen nodded to Voldemort.
Then he straightened his body; his clothes were covered in Harry's blood...
"Very well! Next, let us watch how the great Savior, Harry Potter, walks to his death! I have waited a very, very long time for this moment..." Voldemort seemed to be enjoying the moment.
"Yes, Master!" This was Allen speaking; he had already taught himself the method of communication between Professor Quirrell and Voldemort.
Voldemort was satisfied with Allen's address.
"Master! May I allow Harry Potter to depart with some dignity?" Allen continued.
Voldemort's red eyes narrowed slightly, and he said to Allen in a somewhat stiff tone, "Dignity?"
"Yes, Master. Potter is your number one enemy; helping him depart with dignity will only demonstrate your mercy! Besides, Potter was after all my former friend, and I also wish for him to depart with dignity!" Allen explained in a low voice.
"Then how do you intend to do it?" Voldemort asked lightly.
"I simply wish to tidy up Potter's appearance so that he does not die too ugly!" Allen replied quickly, observing Voldemort's expression and speaking cautiously.
"Please allow me to retrieve my wand!" Allen pointed to the wand lying in the distance.
Voldemort suddenly turned his head to lock eyes with Allen; his red eyes contained endless pressure. Allen bravely met his gaze, his own eyes filled with calmness and humility...
"Go! Give him dignity!" Voldemort said softly,
then ended the stare-down, "Handle it well; make sure others can recognize Potter's corpse at a glance."
The invisible armor around Professor Quirrell was still faintly shimmering; Voldemort obviously believed that even if Allen retrieved his wand, it could not pose a threat to him.
Allen stumbled as he retrieved his wand.
"My lord, then I shall begin!" Allen said humbly.
Voldemort appreciated Allen's attitude and nodded slightly...
Allen pointed his wand at Harry; Harry was covered in blood...
Allen softly chanted the spell:
"Scourgify!"
In the next moment, both Voldemort and Quirrell screamed in agony simultaneously. Quirrell spun around, pointed his wand at Allen, and chanted the spell: "Avada..."
But at this moment, Allen's second Scourgify spell had been successfully cast. A patch of blood on Harry's body vanished into thin air, only to instantly appear above Professor Quirrell's head. The invisible armor around him offered no reaction whatsoever. This mass of blood splashed onto Professor Quirrell's face and hands again, interrupting his spellcasting.
Harry's blood fell upon Professor Quirrell; his exposed skin seemed as if burned by fire, glowing red and covered in many blisters...
Allen pressed his advantage without mercy, continuing to cast Scourgify on Harry, transferring masses of blood onto Professor Quirrell.
Yes, Allen was casting Scourgify. He had discovered the hidden parameters of the Scourgify spell long ago and developed a new usage for it—the ability to clean "dirt" within a small range to a designated location.
So when he saw Harry lying on the ground covered in blood, a plan vaguely formed in his mind. Harry had said that Quirrell dared not touch his skin, so Allen deduced that splashing Harry's blood onto Quirrell would also cause him severe injury. Thus, he prepared to act this way. Although he knew that if his deduction was wrong, he would die horribly, he still resolutely proceeded...
But at that time, his wand had already been knocked away. Professor Quirrell and Voldemort would not have allowed him to retrieve his wand. Moreover, even if he had retrieved it, Quirrell would not have allowed him to cast Scourgify.
So he pretended to surrender to lull Voldemort, then found an excuse to retrieve his wand and successfully cast Scourgify.
Professor Quirrell and Voldemort writhed in agony on the ground, their two faces screaming in pain, yet Allen was completely unaffected by their miserable state; he continued to cast Scourgify on Harry.
Finally, Professor Quirrell stopped writhing on the ground, but Harry's blood continued to take effect. Professor Quirrell's body simply turned to ash and vanished...
A transparent shadow emerged from the ashes. Allen recognized that figure by his nose as Voldemort. His expression was filled with resentment and anger. He circled Allen once, then flew away along the path he had come.
Allen wanted to cast a few spells at the shadow, but the spells passed directly through the transparent shadow, having absolutely no effect...
But Allen could no longer spare the time to pursue Voldemort; he quickly turned back to check on Harry's condition...
Harry had already slipped into a semi-comatose state...
"Harry, don't sleep! We won! Hold on! You will receive treatment soon! Hold on!" Allen encouraged Harry loudly, knowing that if Harry fell asleep now, he might never wake up again...
Harry's chest and abdomen were a mess of flesh and blood. Allen took off his robe to bandage him, but it was of no use; the wounds continued to seep blood...
And the path back to the ground was still so long. Allen knew that if this continued, Harry would bleed to death!
At this moment, the light had already faded from Harry's eyes; his reactions grew weaker and weaker...
Allen's heart sank with him...
