Chapter 1342

Facts proved that Xin Baobao's worry was unnecessary.

According to Kong Shengji's temperament, he should have been waiting for He Pingsheng at the entrance of the Chamber of Commerce to stir up trouble.

But in reality, he didn't.

Perhaps because the rules for this Golden Feather Assembly were out, he ran over to look at the rules.

After He Pingsheng walked out of the Chamber of Commerce, he wanted to find Wang Dun, but he couldn't find him.

This kid was probably dragged away by Fairy Dantai long ago.

"Let's go, let's go to the back and take a look!" He Pingsheng walked forward first.

Han Houzhi stood on his right, and Xin Baobao stood on his left.

Jie Wuxin could only follow behind with Luo Bingyao.

Xin Baobao looked at Han Houzhi several times.

He Pingsheng hurriedly said: "Oh... I forgot to introduce you... this is the Demoness of the Demon Race, Xin Baobao. Because she owes me something, she can't leave my side for the time being!"

Xin Baobao seemed very dissatisfied with this introduction; she glared fiercely at He Pingsheng with her big eyes twice.

Han Houzhi looked at Xin Baobao with great surprise and said: "So you are the Holy Maiden of the Demon Race. How come you're a little girl?"

He Pingsheng added: "Xin Baobao, this is Fellow Daoist Han, named Han Houzhi. You must be unfamiliar with this name, but if I say he is the one from the Black Domain, you shouldn't be unfamiliar!"

Xin Baobao's brows twitched: "So it's you?"

"Disrespectful!"

It was rare to see Xin Baobao submit to someone.

Han Houzhi had achieved it.

After all, Han Houzhi killed over a dozen Taiyi Golden Immortals single-handedly. This fierce reputation was earned through actual combat, unlike Wang Dun, who also had a record of killing a Taiyi Golden Immortal, but there was only one such record, and no one had seen how Wang Dun killed that Taiyi Golden Immortal.

Coupled with the image of Wang Dun being entangled by many women, it was not strange that Xin Baobao thought Wang Dun was putting the cart before the horse.

"This is Fellow Daoist Jie Wuxin... also very impressive!"

"He has an eighth-tier bloodline and is also my good friend!"

Han Houzhi said: "The word 【also】 is used well. Does Fellow Daoist Wang think that I, Han, am also your friend?"

He Pingsheng did not answer!

Han Houzhi?

Friend?

Perhaps he didn't have the thought of killing him right now, and perhaps he could temporarily not treat him as an enemy, but a friend was absolutely impossible.

If there was an opportunity, He Pingsheng wouldn't even mind a sneak attack.

He knew that Han Houzhi must be thinking the same thing in his heart.

The Tianyu Chamber of Commerce was not far from that huge square.

The five of them did not use teleportation divine abilities to get there, but just walked over slowly like this.

The huge square was already almost full of people.

A sea of people, numbering in the tens of thousands.

At the end of the huge square, there were nine stone tablets!

The stone tablets flickered with formation light membranes, and on the light membranes, text flowed continuously, which was the introduction to this Golden Feather Assembly.

"No need to walk inside!" Han Houzhi said: "You can watch from right here!"

Everyone was a Golden Immortal Stage immortal, and a flick of spiritual sense could sweep across a hundred thousand miles.

There was naturally no need to crowd forward for a distance of less than ten thousand zhang.

Boom...

Several people each extended their spiritual sense and looked towards the stone tablets.

There was a lot of information!

But compared to enlightenment, the information was pitifully little.

Under the blessing of their vast spiritual sense, in at most three breaths, everyone had digested all the information here.

Seeing the information, He Pingsheng's brows furrowed slightly.

They actually have to be assessed on so many items?

This time after the Golden Feather, there are many assessments!

In order, they are: Luck Competition, Spiritual Sense Competition, Strength Competition, Immortal Essence Competition, Speed Competition, Great Dao Law Competition, Comprehension Competition, and Combat Power Competition.

A total of eight competitions!

These eight competitions all award points based on ranking!

But the weight of these eight items is not the same.

For example, the seven items of Luck, Spiritual Sense, Strength, Immortal Essence, Speed, Great Dao Law, and Comprehension all have the same weight, which is a total score of one hundred points.

While the weight of the Combat Power competition is much larger, at five hundred points.

And not everyone can participate in these eight competitions.

Instead, it's a gradual elimination.

Each time, half are eliminated!

But the first elimination will definitely exceed half!

The rules for these eight major competitions were not specifically stated; the meaning above is that they will only be announced three days before each competition begins.

However, the rules for the first item, 【Luck Competition】, have already been released.

This Luck Competition is very simple, named 【Nine Dragon Immortal Gate】.

The competition venue is like a courtyard!

There is nothing in the courtyard, only nine doors leading to the second courtyard behind!

The immortals who walk into it can choose a door at will!

As long as you pass through a door, you will get corresponding points.

And this score is not fixed.

One to nine points appear randomly on these nine doors.

Walk from the first courtyard into the second courtyard, then from the second courtyard into the third courtyard, and so on.

There are nine doors in every courtyard!

And every time you enter a new courtyard, you have to choose a door again!

So you have to choose nine times!

Each time, your possible score is between one and nine points.

As for how many points you can get?

Don't know?

It all depends on luck.

Theoretically speaking, if your luck is at its worst, you can only get one point each time.

Then, the minimum total score you can get is nine points.

If your luck is explosive, and you get nine points every time, then the maximum is eighty-one points.

And the rule of this game is to eliminate everyone with a total score below sixty!

This is not as simple as eliminating half the people!

Theoretically speaking, the score range is from nine to eighty-one, a total of seventy-three data points.

Estimating by the median, the middle values should be forty-five and forty-six!

That is to say, if you really want to eliminate half the people, setting this score at forty-six is more reasonable.

About two hundred thousand people are participating in this competition!

Then about one hundred thousand people are above forty-five points, and about one hundred thousand people are below forty-six points.

But now, they have actually set this passing score at sixty!

Then... the elimination will be more than just half.

Perhaps two-thirds, or even more!

After seeing this rule, almost everyone was cursing!

"Isn't this nonsense?"

"The first round depends on luck?"

"If my luck is bad and I lose in the first round, I'll be eliminated just like that?"

"Who designed this competition? I just want to hit someone!"

"In all previous Golden Feather Assemblies, there has never been a mention of a Luck Competition. This is the first time!"

"Although it's the first time, isn't this too sloppy?"

"Aren't they afraid that those peerless geniuses with seventh or eighth-tier roots will be brushed off in the first round?"

"Hmph... wait and see the show!"

"You can't say it like that either. Usually, which of those with seventh or eighth-tier roots isn't a person with heaven-defying opportunities? When they walk into this Nine Dragon Immortal Gate, they will definitely be able to get high scores!"

Han Houzhi smiled and asked He Pingsheng: "What does Fellow Daoist think?"

He Pingsheng said: "Can't see through it. There's still half a month until this grand competition, let's go back first and talk about it later!"
