Chapter 1306: Undead Dragon God Transport Team?
Everyone soul-shifted over, but they didn't see the King of Feilie; they only saw the Monarch punch a First-Rank Dragon God to pieces.
The First-Rank Dragon God's flesh and scales splattered, as if hit at high speed by a multi-trillion-ton Heavenly Fortress. It was directly smashed like a small insect, with minced meat flying everywhere.
However, not long after it splattered, that flesh, scales, and bone fragments all turned into soul energy, drifting away and dissipating, leaving behind only a shrill wail.
And in front of the Monarch, there were more First-Rank Dragon Gods. They all looked at this scene in astonishment, somewhat at a loss.
Anthony and the others were equally at a loss.
"So many Dragon-men? How did they start fighting with the Old Immortal? Yennefer, quickly call Yennefer to mediate," Negris said hurriedly.
"They aren't Dragon-men; they are undead. They used the Dragon race's ultimate transformation technique to become First-Rank Dragon Gods. I know what I overlooked," Anthony said quickly, his tone incredibly relaxed.
Ursman also breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I know too. The Monarch said that he could only have an increment if he established a soul network in his body, so he couldn't possibly devour all that death aura. A portion must have been resurrected by him as undead creatures and connected to his soul network. These are his undead legion."
Anthony also said, "He even considered using these undead Dragon Gods to lead the charge. He was scared by the Lord's soul-shifting and specifically chose a group of undead Dragon Gods capable of delaying time and solidifying space to lead the vanguard, wanting to trap the Lord before making a move. He didn't expect to run into the Majesty, the Lord of Stars who can be immune to spacetime restrictions."
Just as Anthony was speaking, the Monarch had already engaged the second undead Dragon God. The void around them visibly distorted, as if the Monarch had rushed into a denser "void," and his figure slowed down for a moment.
However, the next moment, the Monarch pressed down with force, his speed immediately returned to normal, and he arrived in front of the undead Dragon God, punching out fiercely.
The undead Dragon God in front didn't even have time to block, watching helplessly as the Monarch's fist sank into its shoulder. Because of the time delay, the Monarch's punch looked like slow motion in everyone's eyes.
The fist first hit the undead Dragon God's shoulder. The flesh and scales of the shoulder sank together, and the scales around the fist stood up due to the depression, entering its own flesh along with the Monarch's fist.
A visible ripple of impact, using the flesh as a carrier, spread along the undead Dragon God's body. Wherever it passed, all the scales first sank and then bulged, then detached from the flesh and sank in.
Also sinking in were the undead Dragon God's flesh and bone fragments. They were like buckshot sprayed from a magic crystal cannon, recoiling into the undead Dragon God's body, tearing the entire body to pieces. Its own scales and flesh, under the huge impact, became accomplices in tearing itself apart.
With one punch, the undead Dragon God sprayed into a pile of flesh and blood, then quickly turned into wisps of soul energy.
Everyone was shocked. The beauty produced by this absolute violence shocked everyone's hearts, and the undead Dragon Gods were no exception.
The Monarch arched his body and let out a shrill whistle, scattering the soul energy produced by those two Dragon-men. However, in this whistle, Anthony and Negris clearly heard a "refreshing"...
After the whistle finished, the soul energy had shattered into death aura. The Monarch inhaled forcefully, cleared it all away, and then lunged at the third undead Dragon God again.
Having lost two undead Dragon Gods, all the enemies realized that their time delay was ineffective against the Monarch. Seeing the Monarch rushing up, it retreated rapidly, its claws grabbing wildly in front of it.
This was not a cat's bluff. With every claw, three spatial rifts appeared in the space in front of it. As it retreated, the spatial rifts filled the path.
"Dragon God Rift Claw!" Negris shouted excitedly.
"Hmm? Is this move called the Dragon God Rift Claw? Has the Lord used it before?" Anthony asked suspiciously. He didn't seem to have seen the Lord use this move.
Negris shook his head: "No, I just made it up. Cool, right... hey hey hey—"
It wasn't cool for even 0.3 seconds. The Monarch completely ignored the spatial rifts filling the path and crushed forward directly. All the spatial rifts along the way were crushed by him, and his body remained unscathed.
Unable to delay the Monarch, and being lunged at, the third undead Dragon God followed in its companions' footsteps.
After smashing this undead Dragon God, the Monarch's fist retracted smoothly, and the sprayed flesh and blood were sucked back by him, quickly turning into soul energy and wrapping around his arm bone.
"Smashing and soul-collecting in one go. The gap is too big. It's simply sending energy to the Old Immortal. A transport team? Where is the King of Feilie?" Negris said with some dissatisfaction.
Watching these undead Dragon Gods, which looked exactly like First-Rank Dragon Gods, being smashed by the Monarch, Negris felt indignant because they were too weak and lost face for his Dragon race.
The Monarch turned to the fourth undead Dragon God. This undead Dragon God had learned from its companions' tragic deaths. It jumped to the right in a panic. A spatial rift appeared at the landing spot. It jumped in, appeared further away, and ran for its life.
Then the Monarch arrived in front of the spatial rift it had entered, punched it, broke through the just-closed spatial rift, and shoved his entire arm in.
An arm bone reached out from where the undead Dragon God had jumped out, grabbed a huge scythe, and hooked it gently.
The undead Dragon God's dragon soul was hooked out entirely. The transformed Dragon God body no longer dissipated slowly but shattered with a "pop," like a bubble being poked, and it didn't turn back into soul energy because the soul had already been hooked away.
The Monarch pulled his arm back from the dimensional rift and inhaled forcefully toward the dragon soul above. Amidst a wail of despair, the dragon soul was sucked in.
The Monarch turned to the fifth undead Dragon God.
Fierce, too fierce. In the eyes of the remaining undead Dragon Gods, the Monarch's posture was like a fierce spirit pulling out their hearts, chewing them with blood-filled mouths, and staring at them while chewing.
Ignoring spacetime restrictions, holding a soul-hooking scythe, with an indestructible body and movements as fast as divine light, these undead Dragon Gods were like encountering a natural enemy. Whether they transformed into Dragon Gods or retreated into dragon souls, they were completely countered by the Monarch.
Finally, the remaining undead Dragon Gods could no longer suppress the fear in their hearts and turned to flee in all directions.
The Monarch was about to continue chopping when he suddenly heard a soul wail. Turning his head to look, he saw a Star Skeleton sprinting through the void in the distance. Every step it took, the empty void would tremble. Just like that, it sprinted wildly through the void, covering dozens of kilometers in an instant, and then a flash of light.
The Monarch punched out, colliding with the fist of the King of Feilie, who had flashed in front of him. Where the fist bones collided, a dazzling strong light exploded: Boom—
