Chapter 1417: If a God Star Self-Worships
The Restraint Fire Spirit was being held in the little angel's hand, looking utterly listless. Seeing this, Anthony and Negris couldn't help but feel a jolt in their hearts.
This Restraint Fire Spirit was no docile creature; even under restraint, it dared to stand up to the Guman Snake without the slightest sign of submission, and it hadn't let out a peep even while its power was being plundered.
And the little angel went without saying. In the entire Void, the only person she listened to was Ang. Even the Monarch couldn't make her submit. With two stubborn creatures like these together, one could only hope they wouldn't cause any major trouble.
Yet, looking at the Restraint Fire Spirit, it had clearly submitted. Although it appeared defiant on the surface, the fact that it allowed the little angel to hold it without resisting was, in itself, a sign of submission.
Anthony and Negris didn't know what had happened, and they didn't dare ask, so they had to pretend they hadn't noticed.
The little angel arrived at the magma pool, tossed the Restraint Fire Spirit straight in, and then transformed herself into a piece of "cloth," spreading out over the pool.
The originally calm magma pool rapidly rose in temperature, and began to bubble with a *gurgle, gurgle* sound.
Negris turned to Ang and asked, "What is the use of this magma?"
Ang said, "Rapid absorption, no digestion needed."
Everyone suddenly realized. This magma was the power of the God Star souls that had fallen here in the past. They had long since been refined and were the most essential part of the Star Flame, ready for direct absorption.
If it were ordinary Star Flame, one would need to refine it first to turn it into their own power, which was very time-consuming and laborious. Now, the most time-consuming step was bypassed, allowing the little angel and the Restraint Fire Spirit to rapidly increase their power.
"Let them absorb it; we'll deal with these white crystals first. My lord, can the little tree man erase the restraints on these white crystals? The kind of restraint that causes self-detonation the moment the name is called?" Anthony asked.
Ang nodded. The Starborn currently hatching were the old white crystals with the restraints already erased; they weren't the ones currently condensing. The condensation of white crystals wasn't that fast.
"Good, let's go. Everyone, carry a bit and move them to the Myriad World God Tree." Anthony began assigning tasks.
Those present were basically all Star God bodies, and all of them had mastered Soul Shift. The biggest advantage of Soul Shift over Star Shift was that it didn't require linear movement. As long as the soul could extend to a place, one could Soul Shift directly there. Even if it were a sealed space, as long as the soul connection wasn't blocked, one could still Soul Shift.
Everyone grabbed a pile, but soon realized a problem: if they were holding physical objects that couldn't be etherealized, they couldn't perform Soul Shift and could only fly slowly.
Well, it seemed rapid transport was impossible. Everyone could only move them slowly. They hadn't finished even after two full days, but after two days, the little angel was the first to emerge from the magma pool.
A face emerged from the flat-laid Star Dome Seal Cloth, followed by the head, neck, shoulders, and body. Finally, the entire Star Dome Seal Cloth rose up, transforming into wings that hung down her back.
The little angel opened her eyes, and her wings *whooshed* open wide. A powerful aura instantly enveloped the entire area, expanding and contracting as if a giant were breathing.
The Monarch instinctively straightened his body and looked up at the little angel.
This is a very rare reaction. Ever since stepping into the realm of a Star Lord, the only things capable of making a Monarch straighten their body are Star Zombies and Mist Whales; even King Empress Feilie cannot do it, because there is no threat.
This subconscious reaction clearly meant the Monarch sensed that the little angel likely had the ability to threaten him.
No one noticed the Monarch's instinctive reaction because everyone was watching the little angel, shocked by the speed of her strength growth.
The little angel's starting point was about the same as everyone else's—all Star God bodies. But ever since she got the Star Dome Seal Cloth, her strength had grown by leaps and bounds. Now, she could actually make everyone feel her aura. Wasn't this progress too fast?
Originally, they thought the little zombie's progress was fast enough, having stepped half a foot into the Star Zombie rank, but now it seemed the little angel's progress was completely on par with the little zombie's, perhaps even with more room for growth.
Once all the aura had dissipated, the little angel tucked away her wings and trotted over to Ang, then began hopping up and down, *awooing* as she jumped.
Ang helplessly reached out and patted her head, which finally made her stop. This is her special way of greeting Ang; she doesn't do this with anyone else.
After stopping, she revealed a puzzled expression and looked at Ang: "Awoo, awoo?"
They couldn't understand. Everyone except Ang immediately looked at Negris.
Negris translated, "She says there's a wall, and she can't get past it."
"A wall? What does that mean?" the Monarch asked, puzzled.
Negris said, "Combining it with her context, she likely means she's hit a bottleneck and can't break through."
The Monarch was somewhat dumbfounded: "She looks like she's hit a bottleneck? She's already like this without breaking through; if she does break through, what then?"
Ang: "Awoo?"
Little Angel: "Awoo, awoo, awoo!"
Ang nodded: "Awoo."
Nai Nai Ge Li Si continued to translate: "Ang asked her what wall, meaning what bottleneck. She said the 'cloth' has stretched to the limit and cannot get any bigger. Ang said, find some fabric and cut her a larger piece."
Ursman clicked his tongue in wonder: "This Awoo-language is too magical. In just a few sounds, there's so much information. Lord Negris, teach me Awoo-language too."
"Teaching you is no problem, but Awoo-language relies more on context. You aren't close to her; even if you learn it, you won't know what she's trying to express," Negris said.
Ursman realized: "So all this rich information is just you filling in the blanks?"
After soothing the little angel, Ang turned his gaze back to the magma pool. The Restraint Fire Spirit was still soaking in the magma pool. Its state was somewhat strange; the temperature of its core was constantly rising, already far exceeding the ambient temperature.
This cave was located deep within the wreckage. The original ambient temperature was only a little over a thousand degrees, but after the giant rock at the entrance was moved, the outside temperature was transmitted in, and it had now risen to about thirteen hundred degrees.
The original temperature of the magma pool was very low, only one or two hundred degrees. But as the Restraint Fire Spirit soaked, the temperature of the magma in the pool rose to over a thousand degrees, while the Restraint Fire Spirit's core temperature rose to about four or five thousand degrees.
This temperature was a bit abnormal. Ang thought for a moment and suddenly raised both hands—Equality Holy Rack.
A temperature of four or five thousand wasn't high heat for the Restraint Fire Spirit, but for Ang's Star God body, it was no small burden. His entire body *whooshed* into flames, emitting blue flame rays.
The little ghost's location on his palm lit up with holy light, transforming into a light carpet that extended from his palm to his entire body. Soon, Ang was completely covered; the blue flame rays were suppressed, replaced by holy light, making Ang look like a glowing holy rack.
A few hours later, the holy light extinguished without warning. Ang opened his eyes, put away the holy rack, and asked somewhat blankly, "If, a God Star, self-worships, what will, it become?" ===== CHAPTER 1418 =====
